Mendo - not talking smack at all here, but only 5 from 400's? I have gotten just under 4 from a 65 in the past. However like you said, you can only run 25 so might as well beef up the dirt and squeeze as much as you can per plant.

Also, I am sure there is a big difference between 4 and 5 #'s from a plant. Kind of like the difference between a 9.0 and a 9.1 earthquake. Much bigger difference than a 3.0 compared to a 3.1. Once you get up to that level, everything has to be perfect to squeeze out more yield.

Absolutely stunning! Bloody impressive.

I notice you do a double drip ring on the 800s, about how often are you watering and how much? Is there a lot of lateral root growth that reaches out to that second ring early on?

I separate out a lot of larf. I am ruthless. My trash is what some people would put in.
I love me some bubble hash!! which is why my bubble is so good!:dance013:

I have well amended the dirt with all things organic.
organic makes a huge difference.
This year I hope to do better. Its a long season lots can go wrong.

Looks like they are loving it. I'm almost all in. Cool seeing how much room you leave between rings in the drip line

haha mendo yea you do make it look cake. so what exactly dictates a 'parcel'? property line?

if you dont expect 800s to do better than 400 why waste the dirt/resources? I imagine one in such shoes may play figures close to the vest..

apologies if I did not find it and am asking you to repeat, but what do you give them in the tea and how often, if its not proprietary secret? ;)

hope your sour boggle do better than mine, I did not select the pheno but thoroughly unimpressed.

those are some fucking trees mang you're pullin our legs on these numbers bro you fixin to kill it over there somethin proper..

I wonder how much of the soil the roots will truly take up?

Mendocino County Ordinance 9.31 allows 25 plants per property. (could be 200 acres could be 60 acres)

Section 9.31.070
Limitation on Number of Plants.
(A) The cultivation of more than twenty-five (25) marijuana plants on any
legal parcel, whether grown collectively or individually, either indoors or outdoors
, within the unincorporated area of the County is prohibited
unless cultivated by individuals, collectives or members thereof
who apply for, obtain, and are in compliance with a permit for an exemption as
set forth in Section 9.31.110
. This limitation shall be imposed regardless of the number of qualified patients residing at such location. Further, this limitation shall be imposed notwithstanding any assertion that the person(s) cultivating marijuana is/ are the caregiver(s) for qualified patients, or that they are members of a medical marijuana collective except as set forth in Section 9.31.110
.
(B) Wherever medical marijuana is grown, a copy of a current and valid,
State-issued medical marijuana identification card or physician recommendation must be displayed in such a manner as to allow law enforcement officers to easily see the card without having to enter any building of any type except as set forth in Section 9.31.110

Everything I do is a proprietary secret.
But all organic!
compost tea every week. Basic ACT recipe. EWC, bat and seabird.
foliage spray 2x a week. Lately I've been "juice'em"

The roots are out to the edge of the 400's pots.
I had to replace a plant today in the 400's and their were lots of roots
I'm sure the roots on the HUGE Blue Dreams are out to the edge by now in the 800's. They are almost 6'

By the end the roots will take up all the soil.

Im a first timer and this is my first post ever, you are the man Mendo i can't even fathom the fact of doing all this work on your own. I see all these questions to you but no one hasn't even pointed out what the hell is you water source? I know it snows once in a blue moon out towards Blue Lakes, but yeah it must be 1,000 gallons+ per water with the 4's and the 8's all at once

My Shit tea recipe
nothing special.
I brew 20-30 gal @ a time

4 cups EWC
4 cups nitro bat
4 cups seabird
some molasses

I brew for 2 days

I could make it stronger but I don't want to burn the plants.

Shit is NASTY!!!

I don't know if it is worth the smell and getting that shit everywhere.
YUCK

I appreciate that MENDO, I had a patient come help one time and couldn't believe that I really only do harvest the top 2/3 of the plant and turn the rest into other stuff or toss it. Since I don't get full sun at my property, only what I can get on top ends up rock hard and up to my standards. I may only get 2-3 pounds off a 200 gallon smartie, but its uniform pine cones the whole way, no fluff and no garbage..that's not how I roll.

Your plants are huge, I dont stop by your thread that often because it makes me feel bad about my garden :( Not really but shit......good work.
