I checked online and I'm not finding anywhere that has the Dutch Flowers Lemon Thai nor any of the other Dutch Flowers strains, so maybe they're no longer operating? Does anyone know which company has the legit version of this strain?

I think RGS/Verdant Green still sells them, a repro atleast:

I really loved the crosses with the mextiza btw. Very good Mold Resistance. First cross i’ve grown was essix x mextiza and i fell in love.
Then the mexking it was mextiza x ultra early love and this was even better! Wonderful smoke and lovely lemon terps. And not smelling like hay once dried.
I think this is the love of my life 😅🤪

Unfortunately I didn’t store all of my beans properly. I stored them in ziplock baggies, in the basement. Even double packed.
But there was just to much humidity.
I wish I could turn back time.
I have been lurking around here on icmag for over 15 years,
So how i have been so stupid, I don’t know.

my last 12 beans of the mex king did not germinate anymore. Had some beans of maverick x mextiza as well, same story
I tried to pop many seeds.
But only 3 germinate 1 died and had 2 males.
Still have a few seeds left..
But was already very late in the year so i didn’t pop them anymore

Now 2 weeks ago i was searching in my seed box, and I found a nice surprise!
20 seeds from mextiza x apollo’s Durban.
I didn’t even know I bought these seeds.
They are from last year. And stored properly.🙌

All from Arnold. He is a true OG.
You can tell that he has a lot of love and passion for our beloved herbs and loves the outdoor scene.
I have been following him for a few years and really love his stuff.
You can buy his seeds at seedheaven (outdoor king seeds)

I'm happy to see people who are interested in breeding outdoor varieties, adapting sativas to our northern latitude and most of all that there are people aware of the adaptive/landracing a la Lofthouse approach. I'm looking forward to seeing your results, so I hope you will share them.

A long time ago I started with Bangi Haze x Purpurea Ticinensis from Esbe, back crossed it to the Bangi Haze and also mixed in Guerilla Gold x Manitoba Medicine. It worked for me for quite a few years. Although now I'm sure I can improve upon it.

After a brake in growing I started a new project along similar lines. But decided to start fresh without the Guerilla Gold. Last year I tested the first cross. Bangi Congo/Panama x Purple Satellite. Purple Satellite did indeed quicken the flowering onset and flowering time. It moved the harvest some 2 weeks earlier here at 51N.

Purple Peace is another variety which does very well at 51-52N. Good hashplant too.

Is this strain still available somewhere?

Seem a lot of these Northern strains disappear after a while. That's a real shame.

From other old outdoor strains the names are still used by certain commmercial seedbanks, but are much too late nowadays or mold prone (maybe bred/acclimatized in Spain or indoors)?

If you have a FB account, you can contact Darpan, was G.A. overhere, but left icmag years ago.

This year I want to see how Bangi Haze x Purple Satellite, Bangi Haze x Auto Zamaldelica and NepJam/Kali China x Purple Satellite, that I made last year, perform.

Parallel to that I want to trial some pure Nepalese/Himalayan accessions and some high altitude Karakorum/Hindukush accession from RSC.

The plan is to cross the Nepalis and Rasoli with Auto Zamaldelica.

Great approach @dilettante! I'm planning myself to cross Panama with Purple Satellite this year; and am very keen to find ways to include some Reunion genetics somewhere, as I liked growing and smoking Auto Zamaldelica last year. I am considering to purchase Reina Madre fem's directly from Delicatessen and make them carry a male Thyphoon's seeds. Well, breeding with a bunch of reg's is still not easy legally and in guerilla style, so I can't grow many regular strains in one season. The Reina Madre project maybe has to wait until 2027, as I want to focus mainly on Mountain Gold next year. I would be happy if it could help adapting Kilimanjaro to our outdoor conditions.

Thanks for the mention, it was a decent batch of seeds so i should be able to keep them in stock for a little while. I used 2 females from Bodhi's F3 release about 15 years ago.. one was lemon incense and the other more pineapple/grapefuit leaning and more narrow leaf... best 2 of the pack.
And Males from the Derg corra release to combine two populations and broaden the gene-pool.
The Derg Corra plants were much more broad leaf / indica looking than the ones i was used to from Bodhi's release and they were less lemony more of a tart fruity smell. High was on point though for sure.

I have also made a few feminized LT seeds that were the two Bodhi plants crossed together and i'll send in a few packs of those to RG soon. They will be very limited for the moment until i make some more in the spring (when i'll also dust the best Derg Corra girl and hopefully make a bigger batch)

I released some S1s of the Bodhi Lemon Incense pheno a couple of years back, it breeds pretty true, and i'll hopefully be making more of those in the spring too.

interesting to hear that the LT is reasonably 'early' outdoors, could work well, they don't smell too obvious either.
