Harvest time: aug/sep
Latitude of grow: 42 n
Location: NewEng
Yield: 6z -?
Mold: yes
Potency: 7.7/10
Year of grow: 2011

had this going indoor for 3-4 gen before taking out this summer. indoor yield was poor but it had potency and the blueberry flavor was quite pronounced. outdoor seems to be where she likes it, the buds are very dense and the flavor sticks with you for long time. i foolishly had her in a mold-magnet spot(had to to get her 8+hrs of sun) so i ended up losing 70+% to mold.....howeva, she was a clone and i got quality bud from her in late aug/earl sept

I grew this strain also in 2011 so thought I would add results too. Although different I am in no way challenging anyone’s results just posting mine.

Harvest time: All plants Done by Sept 15th
Latitude of grow: 42 n
Location: Midwest US
Yield: 8oz and above
Mold: No
Potency: 7.5/10
Year of grow: 2011

This strain is a great early finisher I didn’t have any mold at harvest but when I left a few plants outside to dry I did get mold during some rain even with a tarp over it. So i agree with ION that it may be susceptible to mold.
To me anyways the smell maybe had a small fruity component but mostly skunky. The potency was very good. The funny thing was this was the first weed that I have smoked that made me paranoid. I had brought some over to a friend’s house to sample for purchase and he got so paranoid after smoking it he actually decided against it said he thought it was time to lay low for awhile and for 2 ozs heheheheh. We laughed about it later. My one concern is this is a Fem strain and it had some hermie problems but not enough to not recommend due to all the other good traits.

anyone run white fire og, the white, chem 4-og, blackwater, tahoe og, or any other lines from the-breeders-that-must-not-be-named?

I was reading thru and saw this. I grew the strain for the 2nd time last year so let me add my results. They are quite differnt.

I had 2 phenos', 1 rather bushy to 6' with a lot of thin leaves and purpling and a strong fruity taste. I took this plant on Oct 9 at 38N. It had tight buds and a killer high that was somewhat paranoid producing. A little exciting for my taste really. I hadnt seen this pheno before.

The second and most common pheno was a large plant that grew to 9', with a 4' headbud on it the size of a softball and then christmas tree branching for the lower part of the plant. Good yeild, 15 oz's, fruity but pungent with a knock down couchlock stone. Harvested Oct 19.

No mould on either plant. Smooth smoke - ill grow it again.

In my experience green crack is relatively early (late Sept, early Oct). I have limited experience with trainwreck (I believe that there are tons of different TW lines); have seen other folks with some pretty early TW (mid-late Sept), but the of the two different TW cuts I grew two years ago both were ready early-mid Oct. For reference sake let's say we are talking roughly 38 n.

Ive been looking for days for outdoor finishing times for more common INDOOR strains, that ended up outdoors....

Thanks

The reason being is many indoor strains just don't work outdoors, they are so used to being babied and having quality soil, being under a good temperature range, under artificial light 18/6 or 12/12, given insect control when they need it, don't get rained on, I could go on and on. they just get eaten alive outdoors.

A good outdoor strain needs to be vigorous, pest/disease/mold resistant and acclimated to the particular climate you are growing it in (Sativa for a tropical climate indica for other etc)

Ofc if you are growing the plant in your backyard it is a whole different story, you can grow many indoor strains outdoors but they need a degree of babying to make it, and they will never do as good as indoor controlled parameters.

BCBD PURPS
Finish time~ Sept 25-Oct 7th
Place grown ~New England
Yield ~ is above average.
Taste ~is equisite. Grape/afghani w/ undertones of nag-champa/sandlewood. Have to be grown right and flushed for 2 weeks for a smooth smoke. Best done outdoors as the sun effects the terpenes in a special way that will bring out the smell and taste of the Purps that has to be experienced to believe or understand.
Potency ~ 8/10. Trippy and giggely. Very Happy ganja w/ no burnout.
Bag Appeal ~ 11/10 Cant beat it.

This strain is the best..... done organically outdoors with a 2 week flush before harvest. YUUUUMM! Wait that extra week if the frost permits.

The picture shown is a BCBD Purps done indoors. The report is on the outdoors Purps done in 2010. My indoor still doesnt compare to that outdoor he had. YUMMY!
