For years l did aerated compost teas and bacterial and fungal leaning teas, as well as lb. But after looking for information to beat the leaf spot disease, l get here and aquatinting myself with Bradley his feeding schedules were the only thing that knocked it down.
Microbeman has some absolutely amazing threads and information on here that might be of interest to you. I could particularly suggest his vertical coliseum garden growing for you because of your situation.🫡🍻

That’s great! I would love to give it a try with your recipe. From seedling to harvesting. Would there be a possibility to let me know the different feeding schedules, anytime you have the time.

Also thanks for letting me know about Microbman. I will have a look at his work. Again thanks for feeding me with invaluable information buddy.

Much love

Hey everyone,
can’t tell you all how happy I am to see a bit of conversation in the thread; there was a time when you’d have to read ten or more pages just to catch up over a coffee in the morning.
A bit of an update for everyone. All the plants are six feet tall or more. Some are stretching into seven but stretch is almost over. I’m guessing we’re three weeks into flower and l gave them all two, top dressed, handfuls of soft rock phosphate or, about a cup. View attachment 19150703 All the tri-leader plants have also caught up with their single leader sister’s. I could probably say they have more consistent bud sites across the top of the plant than their single leader sisters but they’re all beautiful in my eyes. View attachment 19150702 View attachment 19150704 View attachment 19150705 View attachment 19150706 The volunteer plant is still stretching as you might except from a seed plant. It’s difficult to say just how big she is but If l had to guess, I’d say two and a half meters.
She looks great from one angle but from the other where she lost her laterals there’s a big hole. She’s not a keeper but the experiment continues. View attachment 19150707 View attachment 19150708 And here’s the biggest plant in the garden, possibly seven feet tall. This is the spot l’ve grown some very big plants in the past but this year if l can get a nine footer out of here l’ll be very happy. View attachment 19150709 And a bit of an artie/end of summer picture for you Funkentelechy. I know exactly what you mean because I feel exactly the same while I’m slogging through the depths of winter enjoying all your pictures It really does warm my soul View attachment 19150710 Well, plants are drinking a lot of water, the not so fun bit is about to start and the Starks are always right….”Winter is coming” 🫶
Cheers,

Hey everyone and thanks sdoyle, much appreciated.
Persianfarmer, I’ve found that my Blackdog clone needs a feeding every fifth day because after that she starts to stall out. I know this because it’s a plant l know really well. It’s difficult to taylor feedings to individual plants at different stages of development let a lone the same plant at different stages of development.
As an example I’ve taken some pictures of the same cut at different locations. The first two are of Blackdogs in the same garden. The first gets less morning light than the second but more afternoon light. The third and fourth is the same cut in a particularly windy, sunny spot and it’s two weeks in front of the others but planted a week after the first

Once you start to realise that every plant is as individual as people and has similar but different needs, it makes feeding schedules difficult to recommend to someone for fear of something going wrong. Get it wrong and it’s devastating get it right and it’s glorious.

So I’ve taken some pictures of exactly what I’m talking about for you, so you can see. I believe what we are looking at here is a potassium lock out due to too much phosphorus BUT, it could be the exact opposite 🤣🤣 so what to do.?? I’ve decided to flush the bed and cease feeding this plant. A) because it’s still budding perfectly and is in front of every other plant in the garden and B) because I know there’s everything in the bed for it to reach senescence. Chasing my tall around and around trying to fix lock outs, at this stage is pointless.
To flush a volume of soil, it is recommended to use one third water to the volume of soil the plant’s in. It’s also my opinion when growing in pots this is a very important thing to do, not only to flush excess salts out of the soil but also the build up of exudates, which in my experience is more important.
You could argue it’s a nice “fade” but a healthy Blackdog, in my experience, doesn’t fade to yellow and as an example I’ll include some other full plant pictures , just for you sdoyle👍

They`re looking great! I need to pay more attention to individual plant`s feeding needs more than I do.

Fuck ya!!!! Sorry my french but thats the first thing that came to mind! Man you are doing awesome and it is a pleasure for the eyes to see!
I really appreciate you putting the time to come back with such scientific approach. You demonstrated so well and confirmed my thoughts on that one same plant will completely act differently if natural factors change. For example same clone in a windy spot will produce more resin and be bushier as opposed to one without wind.
From now on, I will treat each plant as a unique individual with customized care.
Again thanks buddy for the feedback, and thanks for sharing your knowledge, you rock!

Good day all,

The girls are in full flower, still fighting high winds but they seem to be doing okay. I have to get these girls harvested as soon as they show me the right signs, possibly another 4 weeks we will see, as I sold the land they are growing on. hahaha, the new buyer asked me kinda sheepishly if I wouldn't mind please removing the cannabis trees before I leave. I had a good laugh. I said to her don't worry I sold you the land not the trees....

Have a wonderful weekend all.

Here my 2024-2025 crop, planted at the start of summer (December here in Australia) due to varying factors, I planted 3 freakshow cross seeds from 7eastgenetics, 1 was female the other 2 were male, 1 male was really small so I fed it to my chooks before it released it's pollen, the other I left to pollinate the female so I get some more seeds so I don't have to run the gauntlet of customs importing more.
The female is about 1.5-1.6m tall, the male just a bit shorter, it looks like the male has done it's job even with less wind due to being in my shadehouse, also why they are stretching due to the 50% shadecloth.

I'm pretty sure they are Freaks Of Dank strain from 7eastgenetics.
From their website;

( ((Mac1 caps cut x freakshow #31-m) x (rare dankness#1 x freakshow #31-m)) x (freakshow #11 x (rare dankness#1 x freakshow #31-m)) ) x freakshow#31-m
This one has been a long time coming. It took quite a few revisions to fully stabilize the terps and leaf structure.
First crossing Cap's cut to an original freakshow male, and using the same male to pollinate our Rare Dankness #1 cut. These 2 lines were hunted for over a year to find the right partners . We wanted a strong fuel and floral scent and we finally found it. The male from the RD1xFS line was used in a subsequent backcross to stabilize the leaf structure.
This cross maintains the Freakshow leaf structure and all phenos are fully stable with the desired Freakshow leaves.
She is a slow vegging plant, so make sure you account for that. Also very slow to feed in veg and overwatering will slow her down even more.
Very cold weather tolerant, Frosts do not bother this girl once in flower whatsoever.
Extreme PM and mold resistance makes this girl shine for growing outdoors.
