Sumi masen anatawa Nihonjin desuka?
Na I’m from New Zealand, good Japanese man, you lived here before? :)

Where about are you in Japan? What do you think about the SATORI strain?

Peace
PF
I’m in western japan.
Sorry bro actually I meant the SHIATSU Kush. Satori sounds Japanese but actually it is a Sativa from Nepal.
The Shiatsu is from Amami Oshima Island if I am not mistaking and it is a powerful Indica….Have you tried it?
No never heard of shiatsu kush bro.

Btw satori is a Japanese word :)
“momentary enlightenment“ off the top of my head.

Hiya my Kiwi Brother!!!!

When I was at the University in WA state I lived for a few years with Okinawa community where I learned a bit of the culture and language. I am fascinated by Japan and its culture. And I was very interested by a form of Karate in Okinawa which is called roughly Bone breaking technique and of course Kiokushin ( I am a huge fan of Master Oyama)

Yes you are totally right Satori is a Japanese name that’s why I made the mistake but actually it is a great Sativa!

Bro if you can di get your hands on the Shiatsu Kush it is pretty unique and the terpenes are super interesting like nutty, sage and vanilla…But it is very exclusive and you gotta have some connections in the circles (if u get my drift)

You have some amazing weed in NZ, very interesting local strains. Have you ever grown Kiwi Seeds?

Peace
PF

Well everything and anything hmmm!!!

What about Orchids? Anyone?

Today I had a bit of time and so I decided to see if I can grow orchids from from their main branch

I made a super cheap (maybe $1-2) set up.
If anyone is interested this is how i did it. Cut the main branch into peices while making sure u cut between internodes where that little bud sight with a thin paperlike. Take of that paperlike stuff delicately. Soak the branches in a solution of water and a chopped garlic clove for 30mins. Take a used sponge (sanitize with boiling water), make some holes, then take the upper part and close it with melting candle. Then stick the branches inside the sponge and add a bit of water and create a greenhouse environment… and lets see if the magic happens in 45-60days or not

Like Zen for Eureka 💡
Shinrin-yoku (Japanese: 森林浴, 森林 (shinrin, "forest") + 浴 (yoku, "bath, bathing.[1]")), also known as forest bathing, is a practice or process of therapeutic relaxation where one spends time in a forest or natural atmosphere, focusing on sensory engagement to connect with nature. - From Wikipedia

Kind of Sums up some out door growing moments nicely :D

Thats why I love Japanese Culture!!! So profound! You can see Zen in a lot of their activities. Such as the Matcha tea ceremony and flower arrangements… in their poetry like Basho with his Hayaku verses or their art such as wood carving called Netsuke…. Ahhhhhh Japan the land of so many beautiful things!

Cool man! I’ve been to Okinawa and some of the smaller islands south of there in holiday it’s fkn amazing! Imo best part of japan it’s like Hawaii or pacific islands and the people are really chill not really like mainland Japanese at all.

Will keep my ear out for it :)
