I've been away from growing. This is my 3rd season back.
It was so nice this summer. 100% sunshine for days. Only 14/100's of an inch of rain in September!

I almost screwed it all up.
I had talked myself out of putting up my rain cover since I'm old, shouldn't be up on the roof and the season had been so nice.
I couldn't shake the feeling though it might come back like a lion.
It's a pretty nice setup, back porch pergola. Runs East-West facing South.

Sunday with only an hour to spare I hung it just as the first sprinkles came. 🌧
Like flipping a light switch. rain, wind, even a close by tornado.🌪
So glad I listened to my gut.
Sunshine is back out and we're back in business.

Winds on Friday are forecast to be 35-40 mph gusts with 25 mph sustained winds and rainy conditions. Wondering how they are going to get though. May have to let them lay over one way or another if needed. Will see if any break, it will be a little more early work on harvest.

1st pic is native soil VThomegrown grown somebody gave me cause bears trampled through their garden. 2ns pic is Purple Punch clone. 3rd is Bubba clone I took form a seedling. 4th is a different Bubba seedling.

I didn’t realize, but that sexy bubba in the 3rd pic I didn’t get a cutting of… I better do that If there’s still some suitable larf!!

We've had and will have heavy rain in here too. No outdoor plants this year except the lonely THHx Danish Passion, dont know how she is doing but will see next week.

That was two weeks ago, dont even know why this plant was left outdoors but we let it live and I did pollinate one branch with Bodhi's Cherry Pie Kush x 88G13HP just for shits and giggles.

Updated the forecast for friday. Gusts above 55 mph possible with 20-30 mph sustained winds. This will be accompanied by rain so its going to be soaking things down. Going to check for mold and get them staked up the best I can. If they are laid over that may be better than upright, but they will need support.

Man, that Miss K is very leafy. I guess its good for hash making. I guess all those flower bract leaves coated in resin are there to feed the calyx stacking. What does that one smell like?

Yes the picture doesn't give it justice all the little bract leaves are just crazy ringed in frosting .Oddly it has like no smell to me. but oh man is it sticky

@Old Piney sorry I saw your question but forgot to answer. The purple ones are Sinai. The prettiest ones I have this summer I think. Pretty airy buds though.
