...and I took a few photos, although this morning, the intense sun, but still so low on the horizon, easily dazzled the phone camera...:
(Santa Marta's Colombian Red/Santa Marta Gold X Original Haze) S1, (@MadMac); (Punto Rojo de Santa Marta / Dorada de Santa Marta X O. Haze)S1 aka Cumbiambera; born on May-16, just over 1'65 meters tall, she has the 5 lower nodes of the stem (10 twigs) pruned.
Now, the natural soap finish that "enveloped" the dominant aroma of peppermint and lemon, is acquiring soft metallic notes...

I didn't have time to check further this morning (I'm harvesting olives), so I returned in the evening, and fortunately I didn't find any more mold...

...and then, among the buds at the tips of the middle/lower branches, I discovered this one, on which mold is forming...

...What I did do, was to trim off the tip of the bud with mold, and harvest the rest of the bud. This is what it looks like inside (at that moment in the evening with little ambient light already):

And this morning, at home, I photographed the same bud, but with the light of the ceiling lamp and the portable desk lamp.
(my mobile phone camera can't do much more)
I would swear that the smell of this cut bud is already different: mint and lemon are still dominant, but the previous natural soap background with metallic notes, I would say, has been transformed into something similar to the smell of green pine...

During these days and the following days, minimum night temperatures range between -2 and 3 °C (28'5 and 37'5 °F); the daytime maximums in the shade, between 11 and 16 °C (52 and 61 °F).

Today, on her crop day, it is time to say goodbye to Cumbiambera...

Loving it :dance013::dance013: :dance013:
Night of February 2nd
Feast of the candelaria
The rhythm is born, the leather sound
And a mestizo and pariah rhythm

Night of the second of February
Candlemas party
A window a star and
A lonely woman

See that the rhythm doesn't end:
Come out girl, don't be quiet;
That the whole town already knows
That your waistline is growing
And your breasts don't fit
In your street dress

Oh! La candelaria
When will it come
Oh! La candelaria
When will it come
Oh! La candelaria

Don't be afraid girl outrage
For not having your son father
Muchacha put on your suit
Muchacha don't chicken out
Muchacha put on your courage
That even the virgin was a mother

Oh! the candelaria when it arrives

Time flies light
And you will be proud
Of having a cumbiambero
Or a garbosa negrita
You'll have ashy hair
But you'll be more beautiful

Oh! The candelaria when will it come...

The frost from the night frost remains until the sun melts it. Early in the morning, I make time for the night humidity to dissipate, to harvest the lower half of the Cumbiambiera and the last remains of the Thai A5 Haze...
(And one of the last roses of the year, a Christmas rose...)

Thai A5 Haze
fem (Chiang Mai Thai X A5 Haze; A.C.E.). Born on May-1, she has the 4 lower nodes&half (9 lower twigs) pruned. More than 2'25 metres of stem length, before being started to be harvested.

Only the smallest and least developed buds remain, having been almost completely shaded by the foliage of the middle and lower branches. Several extra days (compared to the rest of the plant) of winter sun (and cold) seem to have not been bad for them...

If, as I mentioned before, the fresh buds smell mainly of liver pâté with a lemon finish; The buds, already with days of drying, smell mainly of a mixture of lemon (fermented lemon, creamy lemon, sweet lemonade) with a finish that is a mixture of liver pâté and incense...
