Early Harvest Porn. All in cure. Ultra smooth smoke already. These flowers were all harvested way early with exception of the badazz og cheese.

IMG_20230923_123800673.jpg

White Widow classic, earthy and as it cures some pine comes out.

IMG_20230923_132241950_HDR.jpg

Badazz OG Cheese. Wow, Flowers smelt very floral during grow and when drying, now that cure is beginning and flowers are getting dry, the smell changed to a blue cheese smell, very different , I love it, the bottom buds retained the floral flower aroma.

White widow x Haze. Very early harvest due to mold , this one should have went till close november, still decent aroma, potency will most likely be lacking.

Got plenty of these buds, by far frostiest, all were in ground, id say these came out only a couple weeks early but really nice crop.

...As for the rest, it finally rained on September 15in my valley and in my area of my Sierra (39°N-800 m high, aprox), after 4 months.
Curiously, it was raining only from the Eastern hemisphere of the sky, while in the Western hemisphere the Sun (photos in the afternoon) was struggling to break the clouds (wiews from East to West, (but I'm willing to count it as half a miracle, heh)

Difficult to find plants that finish properly this far North.
This is the same plant (through cuttings) about 2 meters away, in the past, 10 days earlier
slide-12-9-17 (1).jpg

I'm facing north, with my back to trees that shade this for much of the day, I wouldn't pick such a spot, but have advanced my own tree line, as they kept doing alright along this southern edge of my clearing. Better than the better lit north, which is a bit dry.
And in a weeks time, this is about my limit
29-9-17 (6).jpg

That's worth doing, but I chopped this year, just clearing the site, as it was never going to pay the fuel for another visit

Had a few we needed to harvest. I kind of regret not staking the plants before watering, but it was dry, and should have been done last weekend. Some of them that were leaning got kind of thrashed since they had to be moved around for watering, so the tops got cut on those. Also removed some small plants that were shaded after their top got the stem broken and there wasnt much left to ripen.

There is still coverage in the shady area thankfully, and now its spaced about right at 2 ft apart! Will be good to got more air flow for the big plants and get a start on harvest. Although, forecast calls for likely rain tomorrow and wed with the potential for a half inch. They should be alright having a couple days to dry beforehand.

After this little wet spell for a couple days, weather warms back up to upper 70,'s to 80F with sunny dry conditions for the rest of the 2 week forecast! May start to cut a week into Oct to take advantage of the dry weather for the harvesting process. I think later in the month it may begin to get wet. Usually takes about 1-2 weeks to dry outdoors.

Tree works best for a stake-- very hard to find stakes long enough. Have to keep the plants upright. The sunny plants are fine, its the more shady ones are lanky with smaller stems.

When you bring your nose closer to the flowers, you can already perceive a fruity, sweet and gently citrus smell, reminiscent of something indefinite between orange, tangerine, sweet carrot and even a touch of melon:

25-September :
(Santa Marta Colombian x Santa Marta Gold) x Original Haze S1;
(Born on May-16).
It has the 2 lower nodes of the stem (4 twigs) pruned.
She seems like my summer has been torture for her. Since the day he was born, she has suffered maximum temperatures in the shade of 40°C and more, until almost September 15. She is very small for so long growing (about 1 meter high). Now that the maximum temperatures do not exceed 35°C and the past rain raised the ambient humidity, she seems to react... But I am afraid that my December, and especially my January, so continentalized and cold (compared to the climate of my compatriots in the coasts, or from the southern slope of my mountain range just 50 kilometers to the South) she are not going to like it either, and I don't know to what extent and when I will see she bloom...:

The AEMet weather forecasts for my area continue to predict the continuation of the current sunny and warm weather for the new days, even raising the expected maximum and minimum temperatures: 36°C / 97°F maximum in the shade for the weekend ...

Today is a splendid morning to go up to "The Dogs' House", and show it from the outside to our cousin @Hombre del mont , don't you think, Yako?...

...Well, nothing, the three of us go up the road together, like in the old jokes of "there was a German, an Englishman, and a Spaniard... (there's a Frenchman missing, I know)". Along the way we will be joined by another little and unruly compatriot of mine...
