you guys think big plants make you a good grower?

lol

funny

the ability to maintain healthy plants with nugs, and tests (soil, sap, brix, ect) to prove it, does,

that and a humble attitude. Swear to Jah so many Greenrushers are more into "ego" advancement then "eco" advancement,

First, I apologize to Danko707 if i insulted him in anyway. He's obviously a skilled grower and I was more pointing out the limitations of resedential outdoor.

Being a great grower is a factor of many things. Mainly yield, nose, desirability, and THC levels.

Some people here are hobbyists, others work 360 days a year pushing the limits, perfecting their craft, and trying to claim their stake in America's next big industry.

Is my goal to grow bigger more potent plants producing a high end commercially viable product? Oh hell yes!! So sorry if it comes off as an ego thing, from my perspective its all about friendly competition driving us collectively to new highs. Compete, innovate, share.

Nope, but you can always start the "growing medium sized plants in a residential back yard thread"? Lol.. I'm kidding, nice looking plants! I'd get your as up in the hills if you ever get a chance.

No residential here. I do feel like the little guy around here again.

I got thick skin. It's will take more than that to hurty feelings.

My best plant last year was my bluecheez in a 200 gal
Pulled just over 10lbs and lab tested at 25% thc and it's 100% organic.
I may be new here but this ain't my first time around the garden.

Lol. Not bragging just seems like throwing cradentials out.
I scaled back a bit this year happy wife, happy life. It's our 5th year here so she is freaking out a bit. We are on 2.2 acres now. Moving up to 8 acres for next year. Might even see me up the hill.
Come blow up my nor cal thread and show all the haters where the best outdoor weed in the world is grow.

my post wasnt directed at anyone specific, fwiw

just a thought i had this morning as i was waking up

epicorchard- competition is ok i guess, but is cannabis growing really a competition? What are you trying to win? respect? not sure the goal of the competition....

IMO id switch "compete, innovate, share" to "Learn, practice, do, innovate, share"

Well said. Adapt, evolve, or go extinct. Writing is on the wall, this era of wild west gold rush growing is sadly coming to an end. Think we all better plan accordingly. Either plan on getting in, or plan on getting out.

With so many bums in the game it's easy to stand out having a solid work ethic on top of a love for gardening. The future is brighter than the sun @ the moment.

I am like you when it comes to trimpro then hand trim. I want to mention that we use an original brand name Trimpro and several generic versions from Amazon in the $200 range and the generics work just as well but are less sturdy.

Thanks yall. Are you guys still pruning inners? I got mostly just some touch up left to do, then finishing up my trellis. I'm crazy about my support system from seasons of leftover cat3 + hurricanes wrecking my patches.

I finished last week. Err, well to be honest I didn't do a whole lot of it myself. Kind of like trimming, if you can hire out, its money well spent. IMHO
