Ouch! My Sweet Tooth hurts!

Welcome back!

I'm stoked by the rate of growth on these plants. It has been little more than a week and I already see flowers forming. The stench is ungodly good! Plant A has a really strong pungent odor to it. It's definitely going to be the stinkier of the two. Plant B smells nice and fruity! I can't complain with either one!

Here is my current cab set-up. I hope these babies are done stretching because I don't have much upward room for them right now. Lucky for me it has been a little over a week so I think all the stretching is about done.

Sweet Tooth Plants B and A respectively

Plant A - Sativa phenotype - purple?

Plant B - Indica phenotype

They look real nice, Budless. It's amazing how plants take off once they've been transplanted into larger containers. They look lush and green. Hope the stretch on that sativa type doesn't cause problems for ya. I like to FIM my tall plants, but in flower that's not really possible. Anyway, good luck to ya.

So far, so good. The musk on these ladies is intense beyond belief! I definitely can suggest this strain for the aroma and speed of growth. I think this is about 2 weeks into flowering give or take a day.

Thanks Black Ra1n and InNvBoarder! Unfortunately for me the pictures don't completely represent the current state of the plant. Right now I'm having some issues with the leaves curling down. I can't quite pinpoint what is causing that. Do either of you know?

Hey man I'm having the same problem with my vegging plants, this is what I found.

Leaf Curling Down - When the leaves curl under and burn at the tips and margins it’s usually a sign that the nutrient level is too high.

Solution - Check and adjust the pH level as necessary. Flush and decrease the nutrient level.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I flushed the plants this morning. Let see how they react over the next few days.

Hiya Budless
A bit late to chip in on the problem, but sounds good to me. I had this problem for quite a while - initially I put a lot of additives in with my ferts, and slowly have simplified my feeds and not cranking most plants quite as hard - they seem to do better - I was giving them indigestion :pointlaug Sleepy got me on a simpler is better approach.

For whatever reason, the additive I have the most problem with is Liquid Karma. Seems that shit is way strong. Some plants just don't like it. Some plants can eat it up. Most plants fall in the middle and I give them 1/2 recommended strength at most - some plants get 1/4 strength.

Flush was the best thing. The curled leaves may not uncurl, but newer leaves will not.

A little leaf curl is not a big deal IMHO - I've had plants that yielded potent meds after a light overfert. They look very happy to me - I know they will make you very happy shortly :rasta: Strong work!
