i got my best yield from arcata wreck leaving it untopped and leavin the N at a moderate level for the initial week of bloom then adding it whole strength the following week and letting them bud for 52 days. i found that letting her grow wild for the first about 18-20 days then aggressivly pruning her down and packing the P/K on will give you some nice big nuggets..






also about the headband - the high is good , better than straight dawg - but i value flavor over potency because i am a frequent medicator, i just cant smoke headband all day , sort of like TW it just gets to me after a little while.

you guys should check out the shipwreck if you have access to it, definately and improvement over most all TW clones right now. same heady stone as the norcal/e32 wreck but its got a body high to match and the flavor is much richer and smoother basically a more a potsnobs smoke. sorry just hyping shit up again oops

hey guys - thanks for checkin back in...

a bit of bad news... remember i had the norcal and arcata tw... now i only have the norcal... the arcata was in the back of the mother cabinet and i didnt realize it needed watered... i guess it went too far, cause it tried to bring it back with no success. usually they come right back but not this time... i even tried to make a humidity dome out of a trash bag.... oh well, HIE... I might need you to do that taste test after all!

I needed the room anyway.... got some new stuff rootin up right now. dont wanna jinx myself so I aint sayin shit yet... you know how that goes.

hey bacc - we need to meet up soon. I want to do another Cannabis Feast/Summit. gotta get ahold of s420 he left me a message the other day.... was thinking in mid- late july.

I'm back and yes, HE the OGkush and Jacks Cleaner made it... but that damn catpiss still hasnt done shit... like i said, it's sittin there with a 1/4 root nub and it's running out of food in the leaves.... but i took it out of the cube and put it in the aerocloner and some more root bumps appear to be forming... still a precarious situation to say the least.

I took cuts of all of my mother plants and stuck them in the cloner b4 i left.... a good thing too cause the moms suffered while i was gone... they are alive but i dont feel like nursing them back to health... so i have started them all over. they say the best thing about the death of a plant is the chance to plant a new one... so i am going with that... so no genetics have been lost which is nice.

I am happy with the harvest although it could have been bigger... the quality is Premier. My thoughts on the harvested Original Diesel are that it needs about 2-3 weeks cured to really start to shine.... the smell was light to start but is now getting deeper and gassier. She is Very Potent, whacks your head good. The Sour, Schrom and TW all smelled great right away and have been getting better too. The TW is a nice change of pace from the others, highly medicinal. Schrom is right up there with the best no doubt. I dont know what more you could ask from an herb really... The Sour Diesel clone put out some mind bending stinky potent segments even though she was the lowest yielder of the group.

I will get dried cured nug shots after the weekend. I am outta here for a camping trip. Got 7 varieties and some oil to blaze on, should be a good time.

It IS incredible herb isn't it? Not the best in the world, but certainly very intersting, very wonderful-smelling and tasting, and a REAL sativa stone to it. She's incredible after 70 days!

I am pretty sure they are different cutz going around. The OD cut doesnt sound like the Headband that is out your way. I have heard the Hband is very similar to the OGK... The Original Diesel cut doesnt smell or taste like OG at all. The Diesel is just a straight deep gasoline menthol taste and smell, like fuel and chemicals almost. It's potent at 70 days, but I think I am going to try this next run to 75 to see what happens. I also didnt get it as deficient as I wanted before harvest.... so next time I should have it dialed in. I havent blazed the headband that Chemdog has, but from what Swerve said it seems quite similar to a Kush. I'm not sure if that is the one you got, but if so it sounded a little different. Can you let us know how it turns out?
