Just wanted to show the status of OE round 2.Still at 3/4 females:the plant in the left front still refuses to show preflowers despite a 7 week veg period on day 13 12/12.

I really like the plant in the right front...smells like a freshly opened bale of Pro-mix when you squeeze a leaf. And also the plant in the left rear...I think it's going to be similar to maxibiogreen's.

the late showing plant should soon reveal "her"self SS. All of your plant look real healthy. Nice grow.
On my side few branches that I believe ready have been cut yesterday (day 60 of 12/12), many remain on the plant though. The look of the OE tells me to harvest the plant but the smell advices me to wait some more and it s what I m doing.

It's a girl

It's a girl

Just wanted to say thanks for the good vibes guys. :thank you:

Went to check on the plants this morning and noticed some hairs that weren't there yesterday.

Looks to be an interesting assortment of phenos: 2 short ones, the tall stretchy one,and the one that smells like dirt(my favorite pheno)

Will be upping the nute strength and switching to a hps conversion bulb this week to really get 'em blooming.

An other bud taken yesterday showing the nice OE colors

And the rest of the girls starting to struggle for space

And to give you all an idea of how good this variety can be (at least for the yield and colors) most of the buds are this size

I'm enjoying the heck out of that girl. After a 1 week paperbag cure she has a smooth creamy citric taste on the inhale with a sour note on the exhale...very tasty! But what really shines is the high-It turned 3 middle aged tokers into a bunch of blabbering teenagers.(lol) Very sociable and giddy with a bit of relaxed body...even gives me a headrush.OE is some upbeat weed that really put smiles on our faces and gave us incredible munchies.

Max after seeing those buds I think I'll apply for a passport!(lol) Can't wait to see the new girls in action...wishing you all the best with them!I really like the colors and the density of the buds and can only imagine the flavor of that pheno after a good cure.

Dubi thanks for the encouraging words from the man that makes things possible.OE is a pleasure to grow not to mention it has a great high.So far I got 5/8 females and still have 4 seeds left. It's definately one of my favorites.

Have a great week everybody!

Just wanted to report that the OE weighed in at 92g dry bud.:woohoo:
I think that's pretty impressive for a plant that was only 18" tall at harvest.A big thumbs up to the Ace team and all fellow growers!

For shits and giggles the plant on the left(mod's menage a trois)yielded 75g bud on a 11" plant. That girl ain't too shabby neither but it ain't no OE.

The current grow will be the last one in my basement...I'm moving upstairs where the ceilings are higher and the humidity is easier to keep at bay. Can't wait to see what yields can be achieved with a longer veg period.

Day 20

Day 20

Now that the stretch is pretty much over I'll flip to the conversion bulb...was going to switch earlier in the week but decided to wait instead.

Bumped up the nutes to 850ppm during the past week and the girls are really sucking it up.

Nice plants Superstone, the yield should be quiet interesting with these beasts.

On my side I ve put 2 nice tall girls in bloom yesterday and took few cuts in the golden bucket (very efficient and cost you only a water pump by the way)

When drying OE slowly loses her nice color,, still dark places and bits of purple here and there but not that many tough, still bery beautiful and as it dries the smell is more and more incredible. I yet cannot describe it but very refreshing in a way and complex on an other, seems to be a mix of lavender/melon/humus and some other things.

also had to share this with you people. Same OE girl, different bud.

It's a shame the pic could not have been taken differently but on a different angle I ve been able to notice a glandular trichome stalk underneath each gland,, really small compare to the gland size. I ve then deducted it was thc glands.
Has anyone experienced this kind of overweight trichs before?

Had a smoke of OE with a friend not long ago, but since the bud we ve tried was from the first bit I took out of the plant when it wasn't ready I yet wont talk about smell or taste even if it was al ready real good.
The high was really interesting, not too strong, not weak either just the right amount to make you feel good on a little cloud. No paranoia at all really relaxed and ready to talk or do things
I ve been looking for such high for a while now, I m happy I found the weed who gave it to me.
This one found a place in my grow room and will in other's gardens too since I m "probably" (al ready started) gonna share the cut with a few.

I Soon will sow Malawi seeds to find out about Ace hard core stuff too.:smoky:

Thx to the Ace team.:tiphat:

Max,couldn't agree with you more about the OE...I find it to be some classic feel-good weed.I especially like it for a wake n bake on weekends...doesn't make me lazy but actually motivates me.

Wishing you the best on your Malawi run. That strain and Golden Tiger sound like a real trip.Think I'll try the feminised Panama over the winter but first I think I'll take a little side trip down Haze St.

I'll keep you posted...... I can't wait!

ps. That purple bud with the gigantic trich kicks ass!!
