After my brief issue with heat, I have since nurtured these ladies back to a good bushy health (compared to what they were at least). In my first couple weeks I learned that I was not watering my plants enough for the small containers they were in (3 inch coco, so the roots would air prune). One of the berry kush plants died, but the other is in good health.
My setup now includes a 600w air cooled hood connected to each side of the tent with ducting and an active air fan blowing out the heat (completely separate from inside tent air).
Each plant has been translated into 3 gallon smart pots with 80% Ocean Forest and 20% ReadyGro aeration mix by Botainacare (perlite, coco, and a lil bit of compost basically). I read a lot of people cutting their ocean forest mix slightly, so, I decided to try it. Originally, I was going to re-pot into LC mix, but, price wise, buying each bulk ingredient was cost heavy compared to a bag of OF. Of course, I plan on re-using and refreshing this soil, so I will probably have to buy all those ingredients anyways in the future.
My goal is to make some bushy plants, so I have tied these plants down a bit. Due to smart pots being fabric, I have been lazy and have just been tucking the strings under the containers as I've been re-adjusting them daily. They can be flowered anytime now, I just need to figure out if I want around 2oz. per plant (which I hope to get as a min.) and flower in 3 gal pots, or go for monsters, let the roots fill up the 3 gal's and flower in 5 gallon pots. Overall, my goal is to harvest enough to last until next harvest (at the rate of 1.5-2oz per month usage).
And now, the pictures! This first one is of one of the flo plants that lost a big branch during heat stress. It has grown out with some fat tri leaves and more recently, back to the normal 5 leaf pattern.

These two have some nice side branches coming up:
And this last flo plant...is growing like crazy, look how much more she has stretched compared to the others!
My babies are starting to show buds! Well, most of them. 2 of the Flo seem to just be starting bud development compared to the monster Flo that has these big purple buds already. Unfortunately, the biggest Flo has a lot of yellowing in the leaves. I gave it a few grow teas to help, but not much change. The last Flo plant got attacked by spider mites and has not been very happy. I think I also accidently just gave her a bit of a nute burn as well . I don't know if she will produce much of anything at all.
Now for the pictures! I used a different camera this time, so the colors showed up a bit more.
The happy Berry Kush, only minimally attacked by spider mites:

and now....the sad flo:
Any recommendations how to get that girl back on track?
