Yeah. I won't be going there for clones again. The plants were about 4 feet from the light at the store and had those dots on them. Most of the new growth looks fine. After the first full day a couple new leaves popped up on each plant.

Can I ask what cooperative you got those clones at?

Good luck with your first cannabis grow, she's a lovely lady (ganja that is).

You definitly can. I picked up these clones at blue heaven in nor cal. I was going to go to sr71 or blue sky, but this place is so much closer. Obviously a bad idea because the guy didn't know much about them. I think it is from the dj short strain but he had no clue and thought this was an indica dominate (it is not).

For my first grow though, I can't complain too much. That club is decent otherwise but their main supplier seems to be big on not flushing most of the strains.

Third day pictures are here! Randomly stopped by the club today again and low and behold, a lot of new clones were in stock in much better shape...and picked up 2 kush plants...bubba or berry I think, it's really hard to understand people behind a glass wall.

The two clones came in 1 inch rockwool cubes, so I potted them in Fox Farm Ocean Forest and decided to do the rest while I was at it.

Morning update: The two Kush plants have wilted a bit. Could this be a sign of overwatering? The soil felt pretty dry yesterday after watering them the day before, so I added a little more water last night. Maybe I should've waited another day...or, since these were barely rooted in 1 inch rockwool cubes...could I have transplanted them into Ocean Forest too fast?

Now that I researched wilting, maybe the kush plants are too warm. The temps are ranging from 80 to 85 with the light within a foot of the plants and my can fan at the top end of medium speed. Once my muffler comes in I will turn the fan up.

Later today I will try raising the light if the plants don't perk back up.

I guess I should also mention my hood does not have a glass cover. It is a hammer tone made by a local shop I got years ago. I also have an oscillating fan sitting on the ground.

water em once a day or every other day. dont worry about the top of the soil drying out. just use a spray bottle to keep the top layer moist and that will keep the roots happy. but it sounds to me like ur givin em too much water. the temps r ok just dont let it git any warmer than 85. plants do wilt when u give them too much water. mine wilt just a lil bit right after i water em but i see it as a sign that there drinking the water, they perk right back up beautifully soon after they git there drink.

Good thing I didn't give the kush plants more water this morning then! I figured it couldn't be the heat that much since the flo plants are doing fine.

In soil you really need to try and water in wet to dry cycles regardless of whether it takes half a day or two weeks to drink it up ... the roots need to breath. Try to take them to about as close to being too dry as possible before watering. The roots will be able to seek out every last bit of moisture in the pot and really 'stretch their legs' so to speak. Their watering frequency will get quicker and quicker as they mature, giving you a sure sign when it's time to transplant. Start picking up the pot regularly to check water weight, after a few rounds you should be able to guesstimate if and when they'll need water much more accurately.

In my experience, when it comes to soil, underwatering is a lot less serious then overwatering unless taken to the extreme.

And here are the sad Kush plants :(. I'm still trying to figure out if it was bubba, blackberry, or bubbleberry kush.

Based on all the advice and reading I did today, I think I may have overwatered them. It could be the heat too, but the flo plants are doing fine. My temperature meter has been reading around 78 an hour or so after the lights turn on, up to around 82-84 in the last couple hours. At night...I haven't really checked yet, but I know it probably gets around 70-75, maybe less.

Good news! One of the kush plants has started perking back up. Went to the club this morning and confirmed that these are berry kush plants

Update time! The flo plants have now been in their new home now for a week and the berry kush plants have perked back up. One took longer to perk up than the other, but they both look much better.

I bubbled up my first batch of earth juice tea and watered them with that the other day, they loved it! I was a bit nervous as I didn't know how these babies would handle it. That tea sure bubbles like crazy! One gallon of tea bubblng in a 5 gallon tank bubbles up to the top.

I am staring to wonder about my 8-10 degrees over ambient temp. I think if I find a glass plate to go onto the bottom of the reflector or modding it to be aircooled will lower my temps by a few degrees. I haven't seen it get above 85-86 max.

More pictures soon
