Ok This just in. lol :biglaugh:
I talked to a good friend of mine today. He uses this for his mixture, He says it will make 40 lbs of soil.

2 bags of black gold 3 cubic ft - mildly organic rich with earth stuff, castings.
1 bag of fox farm soil - lotta rich nutrients + many organics
2 small bags of perlite - of course drainage and holds air
5 tbs of dolomite lime - helps stabalize the PH + Calcium, Magnesium
3 tbs of earth magic - A superfood to improve the soils biological activity.
3 tbs of some protein crumblies - Also a superfood that feeds the biological organisms.

He has total success with it he says.. He wrote it all down for me.. quite expensive im assuming. But worth a try.. hope this helps someone.. peace

the pure blend grow and bloom are complete if you don't want to mix abunch of things together.I have used the foxfarm bigbloom flower ferts along with earthjuice microblast for the trace elements instead of the foxfarm tiger bloom.and the I use fox farm ocean forest soil with that and have incredible results

Ive recently come back to my soil-less mix from a half arsed hydro attempt and was just tweaking my nutes as i found this thread....

The nutes that have worked well for me in soil and soil-less in the past, are fish emulsion, this is good shit! and dont forget the other shit thats good, literally, all the worm and bat guano's etc...

I use these in liquid application only and keep my soil-less mix free of any other additives, so the plants get only what they drink from my feeding, kinda like CC described.

Ive found this a very user friendly way to go, like he said, your not standing around waiting for the soil to dry out, and you can tweak the mix by altering the amounts of perlite to adjust the water holding capacity to just how you like it.

what is this en ea fert??????

En/Ea stands the two-part mycorrhizal inoculants, Earth Nectar and Earth Ambrosia...not a fert at all :)

some interesting facts on mycorrhizae...
Mycorrhizae may consist of one of many different types of fungi. Their form and association with the host plant varies according to mycorrhizae type. There are many different important types of mycorrhizae. Ericoid mycorrhizae break down organic matter and rarely extend far beyond the root they infect. Ectomycorhizal type mycorrhizae extend large amounts of hyphae into the soil and uptake both organic and inorganic nutrients. Arbuscular mycorrhizae extend compact structures known as arbuscules into the soil and generally uptake minerals such as phosphorous. These three are the most notable but several other types also exist. Mycorrhizae generally consist of Basidiomycota or Ascomycota, but may also include Zygomycota
