today the shitake's look almost ready. the pamphlet says harvest them all when the ridges underneath are totally unfurled... i'm thinking tomorrow will be my first shrrom harvest ever.
first round of clones from the N-h all didn't make it ('dog ate' excuse?)... taking my time before doing the second round
today's watering of the dry planter was accompanied by a topdress of macerated yarrow leaf, misc. mint flowers, and a dash of kelp meal. topped off with VC
