Well, the first stages are about to start. This is how it will begin. Something as simple as making it easier for us to travel. Like carrying a fuckin passport is so hard. Here you go and i hope your ready. This is how the national id will start. State by state and then it will morph into one national id with databases that are all crossed index.

as it is right now the major pizza delivery places keep your info on file when you dial in, for convenience of course. order from dominos once, and next time you call your info will be brought up with your phone number automatically. and they are actually being connected to the police database, i read an AP news article about arrests being made because they found the whereabouts of a suspect from a match when a pizza delivery service database flagged a suspect of the police database, the police were notified an voila.

Proof the pizza place DB actually exists, or the whole leading to arrest thing.
Because I can vouch for the auto-retrieve DB, but never heard of one that was tied into NCIC to automatically run warrant checks. That's a new one, unless it was the local cops that knew the guy had a weakness for pizza and asked the manager to flag the account

This is hyperbole... but then again 1984 was hyperbole.
Sometimes hyperbole can bear a striking resemblance to the possible truth given time.
Though a scenario like the one described in the first post may be a little far fetched, you best believe that any purchases you make with a credit card (and probably debit card) (which includes that yummy DiGiorno pizza) are being data mined by marketing agencies purchasing this information from your credit card company. AMEX is a leader in doing this. Though right now it's being used for somewhat benign reasons like sending you catalogs for items that marketing agencies are thinking you might buy based on your past credit card purchases, it doesn't mean that other agencies can't use this for other means.

Here is the biggest fucking joke of all time. The only two groups who will be allied against this intrusion into our privacy are people engaged in criminal behavior and right wing Christians, who think this is the mark of the beast. Politics makes strange bedfellows!
If you are a christian, read your bible. This can very well be considered the mark of the beast or a prediction for judgement day. I forget the exact verse in the bible but basically it has something to do with everyone walking around with numbers in very plain view for everyone to see or something like that.

Visa already advertise that they are looking out for you, your family and your credit rating by monitoring your visa account and flagging any "out of character" purchases. So they are either waving it in your face and you cannot see it or you haven't seen those ads.
what if you had an "out of character" dvd/video hire or were in a location where they needed a patsy to take a fall... or imagine if you weren't somewhere and someone wanted to stitch you up. They could add transactions to make you there.
This ID becomes you and everything in it is you. And only what is in it is you. So if it suddenly says something bad about you then that is you..., it is your facts. And what if they turn off your ID. Who are you then?

The really crappy part about those companies "llooking out for you" is that if I ever had an emergency where I needed to use my credit card, you better believe it would be a large amount.
So would my credit card company not allow the transaction to go through? Would I be up shit's creek sans paddle because my CC company is looking out for me?

We read history books about WWII and what German society turned into and we fail to see the parallels between 1940's Germany and current day US. We are imprisoning illegal immigrants, we are torturing suspected terrorists, we are holding humans against their will for an indefinite amount of time, we are killing tens of thousands (if not hundereds of thousands) of civilians, we are blindly sending our own youth into the meat grinder, we are pretty much going along with what the head says-- if we do not, we are playing for the wrong team. Yes, the crushing economic situation was a factor in Hitler's rise to power.....as were a multitude of other factors, both in Germany and out.
To name a but a few of the factors that lead to Hitler becoming Chancellor in 1933: anti-Semitism, nationalism, anti-Communism, the shame of Versailles, corporate support of the Nazi party both foreign and domestic, 'racial science' and Nordic superiority theory.
I could go on and on.....
The phenomenon of the Nazi party and it's actions over twelve terrible years is something that cannot be explained in a post on a forum board. It is an very complex part of history, and one of the most important that one can study.
I truely think that the indepth study of such monsterous evil is a personal duty of every moral person...one must know about it as much as one can, and teach one's kids......only that way can things like that be avoided in the future.

When they left I asked the cashier wtf and she explains that they are SSI folks who have signed up for a government pilot program to ease them of banking issues and that their money is put into their account and they can pay by swiping the chip in their wrist and the funds are transferred just like using a credit or debit card. I have no idea if it is still this way BUT under the Pentagon sits the computers that handles the SSI money comings and goings. Years ago it was one of the largest systems in the world and it has a nickname as well. They call it The Beast.
They try it out first with the one's that will not complain to work out the bugs, continue to make money easily counter fitted to scare us into a need for such a system by those of us that can tie our own shoes and the rest as they say is just the way they predicted many many years ago.
I saw it with my own eyes lady's and gentlemen.

this is very sad, the act. what even worse is the people who just think its business as usual. they will call you crazy or paranoid but the fact of the matter is that our rights are ass fucked everyday in this country, it just hasnt happened yet. cant you notice how they are doing it.... slowly one right after another. we will probably wake up in 20 years with chips in our arms. sounds like bull, well i saw a news station show a family that had been implanted as a test study. why did they do it "to protect the country from terrorists" jesus christ how they believe the lies. jesus christ how YOU believe the lies....tim to move to canada but even that may not be safe.

Anyone that says "fuck America" or "I'm moving out of the country"....sorry to say but every other major country will be right behind the US with the same technology. The US will strong arm any country that wants our aid, trade, tourists, commerce/business etc to use this in order to work with the US.
