OPOP...One Pound..One Plant V

round these parts, most pounds (from the growers I deal with), come at least 10g heavy... sometimes closer to 20.

Where do you find growers like that? I don't think I have ever gotten a full 453.6 grams in a pound. Every grower I have ever met considers 448 grams (28 x 16) to be a full pound. For at least the past few years I have always been at least 5% short (or sold wet buds that dry out short). Lately, I have been paying full retail price even for bulk quantities, but at least I trust the quality of the product.

Here are some of my outdoor plants. They should range anywhere from 2-4 pounds each.

Here's another pic of that plant you were doubting. One thing I will admit is that it was vegged outdoors from about mid may till mid august and then taken indoors to flower. I know people who have yielded over a pound with a low yielding indica (Bubba kush) tree style hydro aswell as Co2 with a two month veg.

emerald triangle, yo. 454 is a pound here.

I would be mortified if somebody cracked one of my pounds and it was short. Also, you want the buyer to be able to pull out a random nug for the head if he so desires. I am all about quality meds and quality relationships with the entities I supply.

I always weigh them at 470 in a oven bag. Bag is 8 grams and I always try to weigh them 8 over so if they sit around for months they will still weigh over even if there is some shake in them. Keep those guys from bitching and they will keep coming back. Short them and they won't.

In the colony of New York, 17th century, after the Dutch withdrawal, the pond of the Netherlands was referred to as a Dutch pound, and was considered to be 18 ounces.1 Assuming these were avoirdupois ounces would make a Dutch pound about 510 grams, a bit heavier than the pond, which was around 492–494 grams.

:yeahthats

dont y'all wish you were dutch hehehe

The size of the pound depends on if you are growing and selling or buying and selling. I usually would do 16 28.5g ounces and throw four or 5 grams over afterwards. I see people buying and selling and they throw 16 28 gram ounces. People can be shady. It also depends on if its outdoor or indoor also. I have weighed everything I do by ounces/grams. Never a full pound at a time. I will take the time to make sure no larf made it threw.

Nomad: My outdoor granddaddys and granddady X sweet tooth are getting powdery mildew. I am keeping it at bay with a Bacsillus Subtillus folier spray though. It reminded me of your granddaddy. Im in a hotter climate than you also. Weird!

Yeah it wasn't that pretty. That's a pretty bad picture of the structure/real bad glare from the HPS. Maybe I can redeem myself.

Hey all,

Hopefully, this year again, this cheese plant (and her twin sister just behind) should yield anywhere between 500 and 800 grams (each). :yoinks:Time (and scales) will tell :joint:

Sorry, I'm not very good with pounds :)
