Heres a plant i stumbled upon the other day and it looks like it could yield a pound. Of course i'll never know for sure. I'll never even see it again.
Heres a f 2 Deep Chunk that is over 6.5 feet high and has fan leaves that are 12 inches wide and 18 inches long.......this plant is growing in a 2.5 foot by 2.5 foot hole with pro-mix hp ontop and bx in the bottom. It will be at least 8 feet high before it starts to flower.. This plant has been topped 3 times in an attempt to slow it down.but as you can see.................it`s out of control.
I'll posting my picks tomarrow, I average about a pound per. Biggest 2lbs, smallest 8 oz's. This year I'm growing Female Seeds grapefruit, some Haze#2 freebies, and the rest are a very heavy yeilding local strain. Started with 50 and still have 49, have 30 girls thus far, and 3 male, and probly another 5 male. Thats only 8 males from 49!! Got super fuckin lucky this year! By the way this is my first post, looks like a good community here, been lurking since OG shut down. My pics tomarrow will show 8'monsters(2lbs) to 4' bushes, stems at a 2" diameter to 1". Rambling, Later.
Thanks pieceofmyheart. After having been ripped off a couple times myself i have witnessed first hand the consequences of a ripper. Very terrible thing to do to someone. Well i decided to sneak back and take a couple good shots. You dont see a plant like this every day.
Great shots and plants guys, this will be one irie thread come october.
Taking photos of LARGE plants in a confined area is difficult at best. It's hard to convey the true size of these monsters, suffice to say... I have a few contenders.
BC Mango & Trainwreck
These girls are healthy and just might have a chance of reaching that magic pound number.

There are 15 plants in this garden... those shown here are average sized for this patch... six plants are even larger... it's just so hard to take shots of them.... all are over 6 feet tall... and most are at least 5-6 feet wide.
Very nice patch there Maistre. Good black dirt. I am sure a few of them will be close. I understand what you are saying about the pics. I am not an experienced photographer and I have the same problem. If you use a pail or something as a marker, it will give a comparison. My plants are all tied down so it is difficult to take a shot from the side as it doesnt all get into the screen unless you stand back a good distance, and if you take a length shot the end of the plant is blurry. I am going to have to keep trying as I dont think taking a photographer with me would be a good idea, lol.......
Thanks JJ... I just wish I could shoot this lil 4 plant patch with Amnesia99 in them.... the area is about 10 X 12 and is totally overgrown... and surrounded by other vegitation that renders it totally impossible to shoot... IF you stacked three - 5 gallon buckets in the middle of them... I doubt you could see the buckets... LOL.
Anyhow... it should be an interesting season... I hate to speculate as to yield... BUT OPOP should be attained by all four of them easily.
Sooooo... I went out to the garden today with a 5 gallon bucket to stand on...
I suppose this area is about 10 X 12 feet and contains 4 Amnesia 99 (JLP). To give you some perspecitve... the corn is 8 - 9 feet tall. These girls are overgrowing the area... thus the netting to contain them a bit.
LOL... I think you are right... they have almost overgrown their cover. The trunks of these suckers are as thick as coke cans... I've never seen anything like it.
They are just starting to show signs of budding... hope they finish ok outdoors... indoors this pheno takes about 65 days.
