i meant this to show up on page 1 under matt8800 s first post. im not getting the hang of this sites format at all, i find it confusing, i try to reply to a certain comment and my reply winds up on page 4 where it has nothing to do with the comment im replying to. help appreciated

i think i got it, ive actually been around since many years before the dawn of the internet, im just not very forum savvy. took my first hit of columbian gold in 1970. was there an internet then? anyways, if im going to participate on icmag i will do my best to get the hang of it and reply properly. thanks max

hit the quote button down bottom right of the meassage you want to refer to..

That's really all you can do. You can change the thread settings to where replies show up under that post, but it doesn't change where the post actually ends up, just how you see it

i got it. seems if i hit the number top right i can put the reply with the quote im replying to, if that makes any sense.
