this thread died in the arse.. so whats elev8 doing with all its GG#4 now that its being put out everywhere as fake? or maybe you guys can clear up all the rumors? how did you make GG#4 regular beans? and where did you get your original GG#4 clone from?
im hearing all different stories.. and not good ones..

its done, the name "tahquitz og" is because of where it comes from, the san jacinto mountains below tahquitz peak, a legendary 1000 ft tall rock.

When I first decided to start a seed company, I noticed a lot of other seed companies were releasing backcrossed clone only strains. A breeder acquaintance of mine had backcrossed GG and told me he would sell some to me for the purpose of working with them with the intention of releasing them. I googled GG and saw the story of a grower that had a herm in the garden, threw out the seeds and his friend grew them out and discovered a good plant. Because of that and the fact that it didn't look like the seeds were available, it seemed like a good way to start the company. I grew out the seeds they were incredibly frosty, had the chocolate smell, super potent, had a similar look, etc. The BX version was a little more indica leaning and was faster flowering. I and was finally able to obtain a GG clone to backcross again.
I had made a bunch of seeds and was approached by an investor to build a facility specifically for breeding. By the time I found out someone was claiming the strain, I already had made commitments to the investor with GG the main strain until we had time to refine our own.
We should have a few of our own in-house strains ready by next month and will start putting GG on the back burner.
The whole G G thing was unfortunate and pissing someone off was the last thing I wanted to do.
Here is our Sour Patch Kiss (kimbo kush x sour kush) and blackberry dream (kimbo Kush x super silver haze).
