crack it like a whip on the ground ? or just in the air ?

we don't get big snakes here, only little grass snakes

I find them to be very beautiful creatures (big snakes)

with their little beady eyes, their skin, their way of moving

some people keep them as pets, some even keep the venomeous ones as pets

I watched a documentary sometime about people keeping snakes at home

some got bit

and some we're defined as being a bit odd, not having much friends, some not having at all practically

did you know to make snake bite antidote you need some of the venom ?
Some people get bit trying to extract the venom

one guy in the documentary was doing just that, and he got bit.. started getting paralyzed.. couldn't move

then, lucky as he was... a friend dropped by, and he somehow sensed there was trouble, managed to get in

then the trouble was finding which snake bit his friend... so that the doctors could administrate the right venom
somehow the guy managed to find which snake it was

what a life

In the air.

Where I am we have something like 8 out of the 10 most poisonous snakes in the world, including the first and second most poisonous snakes in the world.
And most of the snakes you come across are poisonous, there aren't many that are non poisonous.
I have had a lot of close calls when outdoor growing; most of them with Eastern Brown snakes; which are the second most poisonous snakes in the world.
They are very ready to strike at anything which is why most professional snake handlers wont pick them up, because they always strike out.
I have made some leggings out of thick leather which wrap around my legs from the ankle to the knee; makes me feel a bit safer.
And lets face it, if you are a few kilometres out in the forest by yourself tending your grow and you get bit, you might not make it back.
Compared to the Eastern Brown or the Inland Tiapan rattlesnakes are not very poisonous.
There are also Tiger snakes which are not as poison as the Eastern Brown but they have longer fangs and inject a lot more venom; the Death Adder is very fast and bites repeatedly, it might bite you 4 times in a second or so where the other ones usually bite once.
Either way whatever one bites you you are fucked.
I read in the paper last year that a guy was in the forest and decided to take a shit on the ground, and while he was doing that a snake bit him on the ass!

if I saw a rattlesnake in my house I'd probly kill it too. and for those saying its not very nice to do so even if you manage to get it out the house it will still be in urban area so someone else might get bitten.

to kill or not to kill?

kill
