High 20 thai

Im glad to hear you have a nice Tikal mother there, im sure she's going to enjoy your climate. I think lines can always be improved with enough efforts and successful selection, tikal has been improved past year to a real nice level, it's hard to inbred a hybrid and finish with something better than the original backcross.

79 Thai stick was very interesting, problem was hermie traits, i only had 2 plants, one hermie male and one true female, i think she was the dense pheno, flowers were rounded and surprisingly dense for a pure SE sativa, i pollinated her with nepal mist males, havent tried the cross yet.

I hope everything is fine there!

I didn't see your post till now CBF, sorry mate.

The BeerBud is basically a crossing of a fast Jamaican cross I had many years ago and another unknown quality bag-seed if I recall right. It is sativa dom and will veg fast after established with some typical sativaDom stretch for preflower... about '3-5 to 1' depending on your conditions and the volume of your medium. It has a strange attribute you must look out for in that it'll dry all its pistals but won't finish till a week or two after that.lolol Careful you don't cut her down because all her rich-orange pistals are dried.

She'll produce a mellow stone that is very nice for reflective thinking or watching videos without debilitating you. A nice strain to cruise on all day on lazy days.

Good to see you too CBF, I see you've altered you name a little.lolol Have a good one.

I'll pop this here in case anybody missed it... it a post I've done in the Medical forum that people should be aware of. Sorry Dubi but I feel that people have to know this stuff, including you mate, it's invalueable:

Mouthing off can cause us all problems at times CBF. It's a pity we're led into it by others, though it can be more of a good thing than we realize at first. What better way to learn than through our mistakes?

Mate, I don't know for certainty, but I made a strain many years ago that I named SFSativa due to its unique and delicate aroma. It was like the aroma one would smell if walking through fruiting Strawberry fields on a warm late afternoon after the place had been watered. In that the delicate scent of Strawberries would come and go as you'd walk. That's why I gave it its name, plus you would also have hues or slight undertones of Melon in it that would also come and go... more so when the buds were fresh rather than aged cured. It grew with a large rounded profile to about 10 foot tall, looked like an orange tree form a distance. IT produces a lot of branches that would fill with enough bud to crack and split from their weight. The buds where like spears of sativa head that had a silver glaze on the top of the resin spheres, if you know what I mean? The dried bud would brown up and it would produce a blonde HASH in the bottom of your mix bowl that was very nice, though it would make you cough from the intensity of the resin... as would the buds. It was massive yielding (1-2kg not a problem) , fast flowering and had very good potency. Chris from African Seeds absolutely loved it, claimed it was the most seductive, potent and long lasting high he'd ever had. Though I didn't think it was the most potent I'd ever had, I do agree it was very seductive with real long legs, though it had a very slight ceiling to it... almost none though. The high after a while would come and go making you momentarily think it was over, till suddenly you'd realize it wasn't.lolol I sent him a few grams of it to taste and I included some seeds, which he used to cross with just about everything he had. But he didn't stick around long enough for me to find out how those crossings went. The stone was very high, but NON-debilitating and you could work on it easily. The seeds it produced were almost identical to a pure Malawi Gold, yet it had no Africana in her. She had Jamaican Sat, a fast Karilla Cross, LowlandBlackNam Cross and an unknown bag seed bush sativa that I found long ago and kept. The flowering period and the melony scent was dominated by this unknown sativa cross that was very fast finishing, and the aroma and most of the stone came from the Jamaican, which I lost many years ago and reacquired it recently... from Charlie. It turns out this Jamaican I had was identical to Charlie's BlueMountainSativa. I got it from a friend here almost 3decades ago who returned from a trip to Jamaica with seeds of it in the heel cavity of his shoes. But he didn't know the name of it, he just scored it in Jamaica as a commercial weed that he really enjoyed.

Keeping in mind I hardly did anything to stabilize it, yet it remained very stable after the 4th generation of inbreeding, which was strange given its Hazy makeup.

I then passed some 'SELFED' seeds of it, naturally selfed from isolated male pods on the girls, onto a guy in TEXAS about 8years ago now. Shortly after that I hear some bloke in the States sold some clones to DPassion that he had called SFSativa also.... and for 40grand or something like that. That is all I know about the SFS that DP used in their Cough. I can't say with any certainty that it was mine, but I am stumped as to how theirs had the same name as mine. Such coincidences I find strange, if you know what I mean.

Thanks to a mate whom I'd left the last of my seeds with to grow out and seed up, I lost the strain because he phucked up. I gave the last of my Blueberry x SFS kerns that I had to 2 guys who I trust who will be seeding them out for a send back when they're done. One of the guys you know, ex OG'er, Medicine Man in the States. He's growing them as we speak. The other, is a user from PG who lives in Greece.

That is all I can tell you about it mate. Seeing as you seem so interested in it, I'll give you a holler if you wish when MMan or my Greek mate have theirs ready. I'll get one of them to snail some directly to you. I'll let you know when they are ready.

Take care CBF, and good seeing you around mate.

Dubi,

I need to play a lotto ticket with you mate... fancy getting a dense pheno first pop? Must have been beginners’ luck I think.LOLOL

Enjoy mate.

Nice to see you 20'thai here with all of the other sativa junkies :D You expierences are always fun and educational to read.

I need to give the 79thai x Chronic another go this summer. Had one that I flowered small and neglected that produced some nice smoke, a clone of her would have been the real deal. And the other went outside last summer but never made it home :( rippers.

Hi Dubi. I was just reading about the Oldtimer's Haze and I am very interested in this variety. Is a new batch still in the works? I would love to have a wicked old school Haze line. Thanks in advance.

Peace,
M
