and thats why my high speed ISP monitors up/down loads lol cause of "piracy" but I never wore an eye patch I swear!
I was extremely lucky...one of my best laid plans actually worked out. I had a 75 ft tower installed and I became the central hub for 45ish of my neighbors for rural wireless internet access. I get my internet for free now...<insert shit eating grin here> after years of 2 way satellite. (sucked big time)

I do pay for giganews access. They have an encrypted option which an ISP cant block.

Life is hard LOL:)

we have effectively found stress free growing! OMG this place has turned into a chat room!!!

and yeah I have cable and they take high speed and butcher it... too many downloads and they flag you... like youre into kiddie porn or some shit... its just bud porn and regular for me thank you! lol oh yeah and netflix on demand which still got me flagged lmao

Amazing what 9 days in a ppk will do. I'm going to take some cuttings...I need to top her anyway. She's already too tall...:)

Hi guys,

I have been puzzled by The Bitch as she is still adding new flowers in the tops. I have begun a limited harvest of lower buds, but wont be able to get at the rear ones.

Then I stumble on this thread from 2007; Revival of the Ultimate Sativa GROW Thread. In it the author pretty much nails down what I'm seeing and why its happening. Basically:
-equatorial sativas can grow and flower for years. My AH3 is from Laos.
-equatorial sativas dont have the genetic tendency to prepare for a frost which kills other strains farther from the equator. These strains have to finish before a frost kills them.
-equatorial sativas will continue to flower if they have sufficient food.
-its a common mistake for new sat growers to feed too long

So I guess its time to flush. I should have started it about 3 weeks ago. Shit, I hate dumping fresh Jacks. It will take a day or so to accumulate enough RO. Do any of you guys think flushing in my circumstances is a bad idea? What ph?

Thanks,
OO

BTW, this Ajan's Haze 3 is the best smoke I've ever had. Now that may be a sad commentary on my life but nonetheless its true. Very up high at the top of your skull and sweet comfortable buzz right between your ears. Little or no body stone that I can make out. It builds quickly and max effects last about an hour. Then a comfortable slide back down to ground lasting hours. This is based on early cut samples. It can only get better.:)

So if it grows forever, how are you going to decide when its done? Maybe just keep taking what you need when you need it?

A gift that keeps giving?

A true perpetual harvest?

Or count back three weeks from the mature bottom buds and start your flush?

Now you've got a real learning curve on your hands. Good for you.

when I flush my plants I try to use the same phed and use cristaly chear water.
and I use 2 x the amount of water than I was usein when they were in flower.

she's gotta gotta get good clean drink of good water to flush out all the ferts so she can get that super great tast.

good luck on ur harvest.

thats what works for me.

also I have notest that when I am flushing my plants they contenu ripening and get a lil bit bigger/denser too.

What nutes are you feeding it still? is there any nitrogen still being fed to the plant? my friend has grown out this strain a few times. I remember the first time it took like 100 days to finish cause the nutes he was using had Nitrogen in it. Once he stopped the nitrogen after about 5 weeks of flower, the buds were dense and ready by 85 days. With sativas you have to cut off that nitrogen, or else it wants to just keep growing while its in flower. Or for me at least this is what i have observed.

Thanks for your experience Cheese. I thought PHing straight RO water was a waste of time.(?)

well I don't no bout that cuz I use tap water that i filter through a brita water filter pitcher.
then I put in my ferts then make sure its the right ph then water plants.

and when I am flushing the plants out I do the same thing just without the ferts.
so that be tap filterd phed water foe me.

so for ro water I cant help on that one. cuz Iv never used it befor. :(

have a good one.

I'm still feeding straight Jacks + calcnit at 1.5 EC / 5.7ish Ph. Your experience dovetails nicely with the thread I noted earlier.

I'm starting the flush as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Loving the haze flowers!! And I can't believe the difference of just 9 days for the future plant in the PPK!!!!! You and and Delta sure do know your stuff. Great work oldone. :tiphat:

Thanks PanchBudda for the kind words.

I did a major cut back on the cutting today. She was way too tall.

I did'nt cut The Bitch just supercropped her. Because of this she grew much thicker on the right side of the cab. By chopping the cutting I hope to get a better distribution.

The cutting has the beginnings of a calmag deficiency showing;

I guess my 2 hour soak in 1.5EC Jacks was not enough. I'm thinking I should add some calmag to the std 1.5 Jacks. The question is how much and for how long.

Speak to me my brothers...:)

hey, i'm in the middle of trimming so i don't have much time right now, but short version is forget the additional cal-mag, increase watering frequency. small amounts often as possible.

i'll be back!

Where are you in the other chamber? Flushing/starving the Bitch? Have you taken lower flowers yet?

If you squint kinda wrong, the pic of the clone looks like bamboo.

Hi IF,

Flushing the bitch for 4 days now...straight RO. I get about 0.2 EC in the ppk rez. Very little change in her yet...

I have taken some lower buds but not much. Its very hard to get in there without damaging the tops. And I have nowhere to dry larger quantities.

In other news, the delivery canoe seems to have lost my Eyeclops or the ebay seller is lying. I'll lean to the former for now because he has a good seller rating and answered my email with minimal prodding.

I wonder which one of us will harvest first. Its day 87 for me...

Are you looking to starve your trichs to amber? Or is the implication of the lost Eyeclops post a way of saying that you can't get close enough to the flowers to see their condition?

Either way, D9 thinks my ladies are going to run closer to 56 days than 42, and I have no idea. I'm just going to wait and watch under my little scope. I have almost four weeks of time before I feel any real external encouragement to chop, so if she keeps flowering, I'll keep waiting.

I've been talking with bodymind in the DJ Short breeder forum. If this plant is truly from the Flo lineage, then it's a pheno rarely grown out (at least in the DJ Short circles). It hasn't occurred to me whether to ask him about the time line or not yet (as he thinks it is the same or similar to a pheno he's selected), but maybe I'll get that idea in my head over the next few days.

Short answer: No one knows.
