plants had 30ml of pk13/14 yesterday instead of A+B
and 20ml again today. Still giving Boost@10ml/gal
Just taken out the 400w mh and put a 1000w sodium in (so thats 600w mh and 1000w hps) and running it for a day or two to see what happens to temps. So far they are 26-28c lights on. I'm guessing that the plants will need two waterings a day because of the extra light/heat.

i need to put more info in this thread (and look at it) because i'm not keeping notes and am getting a bit lost in space

at the beginning of week4 they had 50ml of pk over two days -beginning week 5 they have had 20ml of pk. I'm seeing a bit of clawing on some of the kush fans-and a bit of twisting. Not too drastic...yet but if you don't change anything these things usually get worse. I wonder if it is too much pk-or, as the kush plants are all in smaller (14L) containers perhaps they are drying out too much.
Will give them ph'd water-hygrozyme and a 1/2 dose of Boost for a day or two.


here are a couple of little kush buds. Trichs are beginning to appear and a slight fruit/berry smell is comming. I know people who are afraid to grow this cut because it smells too much-what can you say to that? 'Its supposed to smell too much!' It is another of those exceptionally smelly and devastatingly strong strains that you come across once in a blue moon. I'm growing it primarily for my wife as it is popular with medi-users.

Hi everyone
i got the dates wrong a while back-they have had 5 1/2 weeks 12/12 now. They had virtually no nutes for a week-and the cheese and madsat have lightened in colour a little-so time to feed them again.

In the past few days the plants have started using much more water-the smell has become v strong too. Today i had to spend a couple of hours sealing the room. And fitting a 5" filter to the cooltube so that now it extracts from the GRoom-this should increase the negative pressure in the GRoom (reducing leaking smells) and lowering the lights on temps a bit.

We have had a warm spell so lights on temps have gone up to 28c-30c/off-around 20c/rh=35-55%.

I won't waffle on much-except to mention the Cheese. I recall a fruity smell at the end of last grow-right now they smell horrible. Like rotting meat-or game. I had been fiddling in there today then went outside-and thought someone had put something dead and hideous in the compost bucket-but it was where the cheese had brushed against me. I just smelt them again and they smell really putrid-like a minging animal carcass. It made me think of the stuff i've read on IC about Roadkill Skunk (as cheese is yer basic skunk) and having smelt that type of thing comming off a plant i am clear that i don't like it and look foward to it turning fruity-then cheesy when it cures up a bit.

thanks to everyone who's sent props and vibes-i'm not blanking anyone just never remember to look in my user cp or whatever its called-

anyway...........a good friend dropped a box of Kush cuts off this morning-i didn't have time to go over them properly just put them on the desk and left them in the plastic bag-'get them out to breath' he said-'i can't be arsed' i replied. Returned in the evening and had a closer look at them-all rooted-but what is that blotchy/speckle pattern on the leaves-turned a leaf over and it was like watching a majestic herd of wilderbeast migrate -from an aeroplane. Oh my god-i've never seen so many animals and eggs on cuts.
Got spraysafe-straight to bathroom-lock myself in. Cuts in bath-world of spraysafe. Also sprayed carpet-twice so far. Desk-books-basically everthing including me. Got rid of most of the cuts-the remaining few are downstairs inside a black bag that has also been sprayed with spraysafe. Thank god i left them in the plastic bag. I'll take some pics when i can face going near them again
Didn't dare open the GRoom to water plants this evening-just put an arm in and blasted the floor-pots and under canopy with............more spraysafe. Then phoned my good friend and used words that would, under the new ICMag rules, be bleeped out.

Don't blame ya Eddie, got some plants once from an online vendor (legal ones) covered in bugs and it ended up being an email war that lasted 2 weeks lol.

cheers Aeric knocking out infested cuts is a bit naughty IMO but around my way its pretty standard-i should have checked the things as soon as they were inside the house.

Well they haven't turned up on any of my other plants yet-but i know that they are still here-lurking. It's a question of will power and perseverance-i will be doing precautionary spraying for weeks and watching the clean plants closely.

I've not filled the trays, in which the buckets are sitting, with clay pebbles this time but am regretting it. By the end of the grow the pebbles would have picked up alot of salt deposit. Without them there this excess salt is laid down in the trays-then more run off goes over it-the plants suck that up-i'm a bit concerned about this high strength stuff being sucked back up by the plants etc-so have been alternating feeds with plain water (ph'd etc) to try and keep the salt build up down.

so here's the new light spreader-they are fantastic............if they are the correct size, this one is for a lamp upto 600w but under a 1000watter. You can see it only shades about half of the bulb-doh.


autumn started in UKPLC today-temps are down and all the growers breath a sigh of relief. I've got 24c lights on-RH 38%. The lower temps are going to help in the fight against Borg.

I hear ya about the temps man! Have had the 1kw burnin for almost 2 weeks now, and been praying for the temps to come down hehe. Just hate chuggin the AC all day =(

sr-i wish it were harvest time as i'm down to 2 spliffs of weed in my jar-but it's 2, 3 or more weeks till they come down

Spidermite saga continues. Whats left of the infected cuts have had a couple of treatments. Still spotting a few eggs tho they may already have been neutralized by the Spraysafe but i'm not taking any chances. They got a Spraysafe dunk. Can see 2 of them on the first pic

Otherwise-lets face it, i'm winging it now. I haven't been keeping a precise note of how much stuff i've been adding-they've had 10ml of PK13/14 x 2 this week and Carboload @1ml/L. No CannaBoost last week (6)-back on 2ml/L this week.
