Shanti did have the 2 plants to make the widow and may still have them i never asked but i know for a fact in the seed he gave me he told me 1 lot will throw out to the Sativa a different lot of seed with throw out the Indian side.
He never called the sativa magna rosa he just said it was a Brazilian sativa and told me the story of how he got it and how he got the indian line to.
I know for a fact shanti posted years ago stating GHS gave Ingmar a widow clone because Ingmar supplied them with flower so yea he did have a clone of the widow but he had clones of other lines that people smoked in the GHS coffee shop as he supplied them of flower. That dose not mean he created the strain.
I dont believe most of what comes out of Holland Dark Ingmar story sounds like bull shit to me seed in hand rubbed hash 1 seed then the story changes to 2 seed and we went from clone only to a strain he worked for 6 years.
Didn't have time to read all the posts but White Widow from the 90's period made me whitey also, and I wasn't a drinker but tried a joint with a beer and ended up comatose. It wasn't a pleasant high but I guess everyone was putting too much in the joint as we weren't used to it. The appearance I remember was huge nugs in the bag with the furry/velvety kind of appearance and very white/light/green, I haven't seen anything like it since.
This new White Widow variety is made with secret genetics. And with good reason: the white layers of crystals that cover this lemon smelling cannabis plant are abundant. The high is overwhelming and pure pleasure. Get ready for a new generation of White Widow.

Hempy remember wen I asked you if you was sure the south American was on the mothers side...an you actually got giffted seed so you know this.Do you know why I asked this ?
Well hopefully I got these the right way around....you might be interested to see that shanti claims he found the father in brazil an the mother in india......see wen people lie they always make mistakes or stories change...if you remember the original interview shanti had while they were all together still ghs.co......you may remember that shanti actually said the mullum(to me mullum shared quite afew similarities to hazeA) was used in the make up of breeding the white widow seedline.......you probably think that was some confusion about la nina maybe.....well la nina I think wasnt introduced till 1997/98.....any how la nina used a male white widow seed to the female mullum....but on the interview shanti goes as far as saying it was a male mullum used to develop the white seedline, wich is clearly different to la nina....then we come to this convenient thing in the new story post split as you can see in my atachments shanti says that both parents were already hybrids.....
The person who made the least money an noise in this...just kept growing...an battling laws in Holland...do you know the guy at one time was the only guy in holland alowed to grow huge numbers even wen the no seed production laws came in....he has fought countles court battles for the freedom of growing...even campaigned against people using chemicals on weed an then selling it in coffee shops.....the guy used to supply countless people weed for free to help with medical problems..its obvious he isnt about fame or money...yet people still mock him an his consitant story....evryone else in this white widow story just made money an became about egos an lots of bs...an cuz of it sold alot of seed.
People keep missing the point or trying to find a way around wat shanti says in the interview clip put up....he clearly says ther was a clone an he made the seed versions to the clone....its quite clear being interviewed on film with his person fully exposed an being in Europe were the old community in holland already knew this, he told it how it is....he didnt come out an say others are lieing or that he went traveling an found the separate parents but clearly says he made the seed version to a clone....quite simple
Has anyone managed to keep a good 95 /96 white widow around
98 aloha widow only one I know of.
Screw a cut imo. This a dutch classic that was everywhere and there is no way it is not still preserved through the traditional people involved in its making...
What I want to know is who makes the best white widow hybrids mainly white rhino and gws? I would prefer fems just to take a peek, but regs are just as fine as long as worth going through.
We need someone to do a grow and smoke report of Ingemars version here. If I had extra money I would gladly do it because I have no doubt like the other guys they are all playing in the same gene pool and he very clearly states fruity side is bred to. I would love it if I could find phenos like the tropical fruit floral ones I talked about. I think when I revisit White Widow in the future I will try his and seedsman side by side 10 females a piece should give decent idea. I am hoping I can find Flying Dutchmans as well when I can buy seeds again. Just shot my cash stash on seeds so far during pandemic bored.
EDIT:
When I do run them I will definitely be running this as well:

Here you go mate, I digged the 1996 aloha.nl website out of the Internet Archives.First seeds I ever bought and the first outdoor grow in my place that I am still in. I found them online in either late 1995 or early 1996. There was very limited results back then searching for cannabis seeds on some ancient search engine cant remember what it was called, but I found aloha.nl. I forget the price but there were 10 seeds. I put 3 in the ground, got 2 girls. I wasn't too savvy on organic back then so I just watered and added miracle grow every couple weeks. The plants were very similar in pheno. The plants were vigorous and a bit lanky. Buds were a bit fluffy but very pretty . Very sativa dom effects, Very electric. I got about 4 lbs out of those 2 plants. I had a few people tell me it was the best pot they ever smoked. I watched a friend turn white and had to go outside and started doing pushups to overcome his extreme high that was slightly paranoid for some. He was a-type guy. I still smile knowing I got to him with that bud and he still brings up the widow! Grew some more a couiple years later, kept a male, made F2s and crossed with some bagseed. All those seeds are gone now given away long ago...
