That's great to hear about BS2.2, mugenbao. I previously got the impression it gave more of a sludgy indica effect, but your report's made me decide to try it this year. I hate muddy, sludgy confusing highs - if I want that effect, I'll drink some sterno and whack the back of my head with a 3 lb mallet until I'm stupid, it's cheaper.

CARE giver - how often do you find the clear clean high you're talking about in _________version? I'd love to have that effect you speak of, it would be an excellent one to outcross to my Flos. And you like Nirvana's Royal Flush (Special) for the same type high - I'd love to cross Flo to a Oaxacan, but I need one that would finish in time for me, and Royal Flush could be an option. How does it's high compare to Nirvana's (supposedly) pure Oaxacan (Eldorado)? Potency isn't so much an issue as is a kind, clean clarity.

why not trying lines like Jamaica Blue Montain, Nepal Highland or Jarilla de Sinaloa?
for sure it's "soft" effect compared to today's hybrids and as they're pure sativa you can expect up high: nice day time smoke

Well from the 10 seeds I've popped I had 4 females to work with. All of them were pretty clear highs. But what you want to find is a heavy leaning Genius pheno. That will make you one happy camper .

For what it's worth, my wife also has a med card but doesn't smoke except when in dire need because she frankly doesn't like being high. She was having a seriously rough time with pain last night, so I convinced her to try some of my BS2.2 citrus pheno by telling her that it's among the most clear-headed highs I've experienced.

She reported a significant pain relief (not as strong as other stuff I have though), decent relief from nausea, and although she still didn't like getting a buzz, she was pleased that the buzz didn't actually seem to be hindering her in any way. That allowed her to continue helping to pack up (we're moving), figure out the budget for moving, and have a great and lengthy conversation with the kids about their first day of the new college quarter. She wouldn't have been able to do that stuff without it just due to the pain alone

You know that cross is coming! My BS2.2 male might not compare to SOTF's SWT#4, but it's still lovely and has an amazing smell! That would also give me a chance to see how much DJ's Blueberry is influencing the clear-head buzz. I also plan to hit my extremely-blueberry-smelling female with some SWT pollen just to see where that leads. Hopefully one way or the other, I'll get something that approaches the clear-head high I'm looking for.

Structurally, it's hard to give any real tips, because I didn't let it grow naturally. I LST'd the the branches candelabra-style (inspired by Weird Jimmy I think), but the main cola was a very long spear: no branching, just a foot-long bunch of bud with widely-spaced fan leaves with very long purple petioles. The other branches were similar, though smaller. Fairly uninteresting in growth structure, really. I kept it because I loved the smell when I'd rub the stems and leaves, that was my clue that I might be on to something interesting.

My camera broke about three weeks into flower, but I'll see if I can dig up some of the pics I took with my buddy's camera.

Never tried Nirvanas strains. Have smoked there White Widow and wasn't impressed.

If you're looking for "old school" taste with a subtle, all-day smoke, try curing Skunk #1 for 6 months. It's worth the wait.

Thanks for yours propositions. I see alot of ppl mentioned Dj.Shorts gear. Ive smoked only Blueberry from dj and i agree its a nice relaxing strain but to much indica like for me.

Maybe some other Djs gear will be more suitable for me. (hope)

Royal Flush is very nice... quite like what this thread is all about. It has different phenos ranging from thin-leaf purple-stem stretchy-bud Oaxacan phenos to more compact, yieldy, chunky Jock phenos. The Oaxacan phenos have very clear creeper high that is pleasant and motivating. The Jock phenos have more body and a "stronger", more introvert high.
This year I'm growing the pure Eldorado.

Flo or F13, or maybe vanilluna from the descriptions might be up your alley, though it depends a lot on the pheno..

Don't forget about things crossed with DJ short's gear, like the Fighting Buddha, or the Blue Satellite 2.2 From SOL.. possibly even C-Plus, which is crossed with Cali-o (usually described as daytime smoke).. it's quite possible you'll find something you like there also.

My Vanilluna is very clear, but I don't prefer it for all day 'get things done' herb. It makes me want to carry on telepathic conversations with my wife or play music or do yoga. It reminds me quite a bit of a mild LSD MDMA comination. I recommend it highly, but not for crystal clear daytime.

F13, on the other hand, contains a wide variety of phenos tending towards uplifting, clear headed kindness, in my experience. I recently harvested an F13 f2 that I call the "Glorious Feeling" pheno. It is absolutely magical, crystal clear positive moods for many hours. Low potency, very little visible trichome coverage, faint smell of beautiful floral incense. Immediately upon finishing a bowl I am up and moving, doing whatever needs to get done with a joyful, vibrant energy. If you've got time and space to play with the genes I would highly recommend F13 while they're still around (the father is the sativa leaning B130, which is now gone).

One of the best parts of consuming cannabis is the taste and experience. I disagree with those who say smoke smaller bowls or smoke pinners. IMO you have to pack full bowls of green to get the full taste and aroma of cannabis.

I agree completely. Skunk #1 is an all day, almost complete head high.

I also can't abide to the use of small bowls.
