Copenhagen interpretation left Schrödinger's cat outside.

this thread was not about physics, we somehow stepped in that hole.

it was about psychics...which is an even deeper hole.

oh yeah...Time. that was the tangent.

psychics utilizing their third eye to perceive future events.

time is inherent of measurement.
light being measured by frequency of oscillation and of distance travelled because photons are too small to accurately measure.

time is measured by the frequency of our planets rotation, not by any natural law...it is a construct of mind to explain memory.

the future lies within ones mind and can be observed, manifested, altered, or ignored accordingly.

it's not that far a stretch to believe one could train ones mind to perceive the future as clear and obvious as the past or at least get a glimpse occasionally.

Precognition and precognitive dreams are valid forms of phenomenology and should be further evaluated by any observer who begins to see through the cracks in reality.

In the Many-world interpretation of quantum mechanics you can be in two places at once.

maybe we're supposed to call it atomic drift... atoms drifting under the direction of the will...

I believe it's more complicated to be in one place at once, than two or more.

Death is the barrier between being one place at once, or many places at once and being both everywhere and nowhere at once. I believe it's the polar opposite of life, however similar to life. And I feel that the door swings both ways...

I believe certain masters can walk back and forth between life and death. For some life forces, there are no barriers, there are no illusions. There is only the perfect resonance with truth.

Ever stare at your cat and wonder who that creature really is? Or if those eyes starring back have ever been human, or even earth based?

there are rumors that Jesus was either Brahman or Buddhist adept that could control outward signs of life in a coma-like state of consciousness which he utilized to confer resurrection to himself.

here are some psychic predictions by various mediums that should make one think.

Tana Hoy predicts Oklahoma City Bombing

Tana Hoy predicts Oklahoma City Bombing
American Tana Hoy is a psychic medium who claims to not only hear guides and spirits, but to see them physically as well. Hoy was doing a live radio program in 1995 in Fayetteville, NC, when he predicted a deadly terrorist attack on a building in Oklahoma City. Just 90 minutes later, tragedy struck at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building when Timothy McVeigh and his accomplices orchestrated what was the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil prior to 9/11/01.

Hoy had also reported his prediction to the FBI four months before the attack. (Source 1 | Source 2)

Jeffrey Palmer predicted volcano eruption, tsunamis, and Hurricane Katrina

Jeffrey Palmer predicted volcano eruption, tsunamis, and Hurricane Katrina
Australian psychic Jeffry R. Palmer makes a lot of predictions, some of which come true, and some of which do not. Palmer accurately predicted the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean volcano eruption and ensuing tsunamis off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Over 230,000 people in fourteen countries were killed during these devastating natural disasters.

Palmer also accurately predicted the discovery that Korea was testing nuclear weapons, but he gained international recognition for predicting 2005's Hurricane Katrina, a storm that claimed 1,836 lives and is still among the top five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the U.S. (Source 1 | Source 2)

Edgar Cayce predicts everything from both World Wars to Presidential deaths

Edgar Cayce predicts everything from both World Wars to Presidential deaths
American Edgar Cayce, sometimes referred to as "The Sleeping Prophet," is perhaps the most well-known psychic of the twentieth century. Cayce was able to put himself in a meditative state, during which he could answer questions about time, space, reincarnation, spirituality, and current and future events -- all with startling accuracy.

Cayce is credited with predicting the start and end of World Wars I and II, the end of The Great Depression, the deaths of sitting Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and John F. Kennedy.

Jeane Dixon

Jeane Dixon
Jeane Dixon was an astrologer in the 1960′s who became both a syndicated columnist and a pseudo-celebrity when First Lady Nancy Reagan sought her advice during Ronald Reagan presidency. Dixon is most famous for accurately predicting the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the death of Martin Luther King.

Dixon's hit or miss predictions inspired a mathematician to coin the phrase, "The Dixon Effect," which claims that people tend to remember the accurate predictions while ignoring a large number of inaccurate predictions. (Source 1 | Source 2)

Mark Twain

Mark Twain
Famed American writer Mark Twain (nee Samuel Clemens) is not known for his psychic predictions, yet he made several startling predictions during his lifetime that proved to be eerily accurate. First of all, Twain predicted his own death; he was born in 1835 when Halley's Comet was visible, and he predicted that he would die when Halley's Comet was visible again. Sure enough, Twain died in 1910 when the comet was again visible in the night sky.

Twain also foresaw his brother's death, having a prophetic dream in which he saw his brother laid out in a coffin resting between two folding chairs in his sister's living room. A few weeks later, his brother Henry was killed in a boating accident, and when Twain entered his sister's parlor he saw that his brother had been arranged just as he'd envisioned in his dream, complete with a specific flower arrangement resting on his chest. Psychic Twins predict 9/11

Psychic Twins predict 9/11
Terry and Linda Jamison are twins who "share one soul," and they claim that they predicted the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on September 11, 2001 while giving an interview on a morning radio program in 1999. The twins also claim to have predicted several major advances in medical research, including this research study in 2011, as well as advances in Alzheimer's Disease, Wiki-Links leaks, and a number of natural disasters across the globe. Nostradamus predicts Napoleon, Hitler, and 9/11

Nostradamus predicts Napoleon, Hitler, and 9/11
No article about psychic predictions would be complete without mentioning fourteenth century French physician Nostradamus. Nostradamus published over a thousand psychic predictions, and historians have now determined that over half of them have come true today.

Perhaps the most notable of his predictions are about the three "anti-Christs" who would come to have significant effects on society, as a whole. The first is thought to be about Napoleon, a vicious ruler often called a "butcher" even by his supporters:

"An Emperor shall be born near Italy.
Who shall cost the Empire dear,
They shall say, with what people he keeps company
He shall be found less a Prince than a butcher. "

The second anti-Christ, whom Nostradamus referred to as, "a man stained with murder...the great enemy of the human race...one who was worse than any who had gone before...bloody and inhuman," is thought to be Adolph Hitler:

"Out of the deepest part of the west of Europe,
From poor people a young child shall be born,
Who with his tongue shall seduce many people,
His fame shall increase in the Eastern Kingdom.

Adolf Hitler, who was known to be a skilled public speaker who seduced millions of his countrymen into performing unspeakable acts of hatred, was born in Austria of poor parents. Nostradamus even predicted that Hitler would die alone, and that "The greater part of the battlefield will be against Hister." (Note that he was just one letter off from actually calling Hitler by name).

Some people think that the third anti-Christ is either Saddam Hussein or Osama Bin Laden, since Nostradamus predicted that he would come from the Middle East:

"Out of the country of Greater Arabia
Shall be born a strong master of Mohammed...
He will enter Europe wearing a blue turban.
He will be the terror of mankind.
Never more horror. "

Moreover, Nostradamus discusses events that sound shockingly like the attacks against Americans on September 11, 2001:
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.

In this phrase, Nostradamus refers to a great city in the new world of America near forty-five degrees latitude. Experts agree this could only be New York.

"The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.
By fire he will destroy their city,
A cold and cruel heart,
Blood will pour,
Mercy to none."

...the important thing, for me, is that I managed to enter a thread without shutting it down and have only upset one person(so far), that's not common.

Psychics and the physics of relativity or quantum physics are so intertwined, it's like Sulpher, Mercury and Sal. Neither can exist on its own without the others in order to have the total cycle. For myself, trying to understand each for its reasons of being, different/ same. Seeds within seeds, Amino acids gone protein gone DNA, molecules, atoms, quarks. All connected, every single One, created from none. Essentialities. Ones and Nones.

Descartian psychic shenanigans, I tell you... Who me?

With respect one could ask, Stanislav Grof eats bacon raw or fried? On titties or w/o...

Mr. Brunches posts rule, and psychic abilities aren't always what some make them out to be.

Could pull out some mitochondrial DNA rhetoric and then we'd really be in for a ride.

If only one person understood, I'd be glad. That could create the wave needed, exponential growth. But as Tesla said to his colleague, put that away- it will be more than a hundred years before society is ready for such ideas.

Yet the dreams still come and the body still has some strength, so we do what we do... Psychics, physicist, botanists, all in one.

Cannabis is a shamanistic plant, and the science of physics will long be trying to prove or disprove what most shamans know to be true for thousands of years or more... And that's probably the biggest downside to the illegality of Cannabis, taints the ally Shiva and distracts. I'm a believer though. Try and look at the good days not the bad, a dangerous naivety on the one hand- a powerful tool on the other.

those who cannot ought to sit down and get out of the way of those who are able.

unfortunately, while reality is, in reality, a lot larger than some people like to think it is,

among the possible things in the universe is deception,

which makes it possible for an entire population to believe they are powerless, consume a million substances and ideas that will reduce their function, and for giant dickheads from space to suck out all their space juice while they watch scott baio reruns.

so here's a BIG idea for your ass: (not you specifically 420, folkz in generalz)

NEVER be certain about shit you don't know. if you don't know, you don't know. not, "you do know," but "you don't know". big difference.

that shit right there is called epistemology and i keep trying to tell your shit about it.

here's an interesting question, more interesting than psychics:

why does everyone have such a fucking problem understanding epistemology? do you like, all really miss me that much? like if anyone starts to ask about it, some tavistock bitch will come along and say

"that shit is to complex to understand"

and that's the fucking end of it.

forget psychics, that kind of ignorance is fucking magic!

please , start a thread on epistemology... And by the way what exactly does it teach that is actually worthwhile knowing?
And don't avoid the question by telling me I don't understand it again...

If you can't explain it to a 6 year old , you don't understand it yourself.

I have read stuff on epistemology and as far as I can see it's a load of people blabbing on about "where does knowledge come from?"

Knowledge comes from experience and teaching... Any ten year old could tell you this.

simple.

"epistemology", from your perspective,

would be the same as

"question authority"

however, you insist on confusing authority and knowledge.

or, at least depicting confusion for our studio audience.

aah yes, the derisive taunt challenge. you better do this, or you will look no good.

i'll give you a hint, mate.

epistemology, has a lot of letters in it.

therefore, it must be a really difficult idea.

:peacock:

eh? eh? :) i know if you keep pushing that shit you're gonna make a sale eventually....

and btw, math is hard, especially for girls.... so try changing the name of your dick to math eh.

the harder they fall big man.

.........and just ftr :D

the reason epistemology exists is because all these guys through history got together and said

LET'S MAKE UP ALL THIS STUFF THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING AND PRETEND IT DOES, JUST TO FUCK WITH MR. BRUNCH.

WHEN HE COMES ALONG IN A FEW CENTURIES IT WILL BE A REALLY GOOD LAUGH

so basically, all these scholars are pulling your leg mate. you're too crafty for us!!!! ;)

remember - epistemology - just some dumb shit with a stupid name!

Grow up.

No need to get all pissy- I ain't challenging nothing , I merely asked you to explain what you keep harping on about in thread after thread.
Someone is bound to ask you to explain it if you mention it enough times ... But that's fine, just keep acting the know it all with nothing to back it up.
floccinaucinihilipilification has lots of letters too, but it doesn't make it a complex subject- it means assessing something as worthless.
Shame as I was hoping you might enlighten poor ignorant Mr b.
