OGKB crosses

It was in a controlled test room. And knowing a lot of these genetics I cleaned them up about halfway at about 10 days into flower cycle. At 24-25 days in after little budlets started forming I found sacks /not bananas/ hanging from main/mid side branches just a few nodes from the tops. Little more than your typical Sour Diesel hybrid lower balls, and a lot more than anything i've grown recently. I'm not that pissed, I just expected more from the seeds. Did I mention none of the phenos were as good as the mothers used? Just muted out from the alien. Wizzzzzord up. Weedholio.

I feel you there man, and just so you know I was referring to the dude on IG when I talked bout getting pissed and buggin out. Wasn't directed at you homie

lol please. Ive run a chunk of cookie hybrids and fems at this point with very litte to no hermaphroditic action other than the Cherry Pie crosses. ran OGKB fems last runs and might have have found balls on the lowers of one. Cookies is pretty solid from my experience even with stress.

Ive run though countless OG hybrids, a grip of stardawg and crosses and honestly aside from the occasional hermie never have issues. People should not expect herms just because they run seeds. But should they be prepared and isolate a testing area? Yes definitely especially if cropping is your gig, but its about diligence when running through seed not expecting the worst because its a chem/cookie/og hybrid. Proper testing of males and the offspring should make any of that evident. Ive been making fems and regs lately. And so far after thoroughly testing males in veg, flowering out all males that make initial cut after that and still seeing the rarity of apparently solid males... makes me wonder how many people do that, let alone actually spend the time testing the offspring. and then after that have the ability to say- No, this hybrid isn't stable. And not doing anything with it.

And propietary means one of a couple things imo when its comes to a mostly transparent seed biz (honest or not)- A. they are using shit they shouldn't be... B. They use something accessible and don't want it knocked off or C. the real name aint worth the hype

Your also a great grower man, so what you consider stressing out a plant could be how someone's room is more times than not. But to someone who has a less than ideal room it's really easy to herm those strains, or where would all of the herm reports have came from when all the cookie crosses were first being made? That's what more along the lines of what I was getting at. Yea in a dialed room, not much is gonna throw bananas.

Though i definitely appreciate the kind words brotha, all of the testing im referring to is done in crowded tents with temps over 80 and less than ideal vpd...pretty much for that reason. If they can hold up under less than ideal tent conditions they will do great in dialed environements...survival of the fittest. I personally havent had forum, ogkb or animal herm in good or bad conditions and have only had the aforementioned ogkb hybrid herm (out of A good chunk of gsc hybrids this year). I take that back, the gsc x pie did herm but i completely consider that pies fault since it throws nanners all the time.

A mix of both. Cannarado has thrown me Gsc x white and ogkb x white, and my homie reversed the forum and hit a bunch of stuff we've ran through. Testing some Animal x stardawg fems i made currently. But think more ogkb hybrids would be killer due to yield and terps of offspring.

tony clifftons are growing slow as hell. All look healthy and have nice internal growth. I think its been 2 months from seed and they're only 8 inches tall.... hoping they hit a growth spurt when i transplant... looks very ogkb like

Tony Cliftons are looking good. Picked out 1 male that i plan to keep for breeding in the future and so far 1 herm out of the pack. That leaves 8 phenotypes left to find a keeper. Most are really short and look ogkb like but a couple look faster growing bigger and bushier. I will post some pics up here asap

Snagged a pack of grandpa's breath f2's and a pack of swamp thing (triangle kush x grandpa's breath). Never run DVG but what I've seen looks good and the price was right.

That sounds like a good combo. The Uncirc OG/PSA hybrid I ran stretched for the sky. Good distance in between internodes. That's just what the OGKB needs, is the ability to actually grow, and some distance in between nodes.

If I was looking for a really OGKB dom gal, I'd go for the Grandpas Breath F2. If you ran 2-3 packs your bound to find something very much like her I would like to think

I got a pack of OGKB x secret weapon from in house genetics, anyone know anything about this breeder or these genetics?

Tony Cliftons are stacking hard. A few phenos seem to actually grow fast. One in particular is taller than the rest and is stacking hard. The stems smell pretty faint. but when i grabbed a nug from down low and smushed it..... there was definitely some cookie funk in there. One in particular had a very chocolate cookie smell to it. All the others smell pretty plain tho so far and they're about 4 weeks into flower. Half the plants are so small its just ridiculous but the bigger ones are actually nice. The way the plant stacks is just crazy. Cant wait to see the finished product!

I see a lot of growers complain about the slow veg/stretch. If you raise your lights about 1-1.5 feet further than normal and raise your temperature to 80-85 she takes off a lot faster. Hope this helps. Peace -OGKB
