is JoshD OG worth buying in seed form now that its available ?

I'm confused how this would have been made into regular seeds and not a S1

That is for you to decide it might be pretty fire but u wouldn't jump the gun and think it's the real deal finally in bean form let's let time tell after enough people have grown and compared to the clone only I would probably run it in bean form and check out the phenotypes
Might find a keeper

Maybe someone can throw a link of their grow journal on it to show us all if it's worth it

My guess would be that the HA-OG he used was actually a male from the Biker Kush line of Karma's. Could be wrong. Karma may know, can always pm him and ask. Josh is on Instagram, try getting ahold of him on there.

Listen you wouldn't name say SKUNK No1 Afghani No1 just because that hybrid has some Afghani genes in it's makeup what i'm tryingto say is any commercial strain on the market calling itself KUSH and I challenge any breeder to prove me wrong is not a landrace strain from the Hindu Kush valley maybe part of it is but still its just plain wrong to name a strain after an area or region that at best only makes up part of it's genetic heritage it ispure disinformation.Itwould be like calling Girl Scout Cookies DURBAN just because it may have some Durban genes lurking in its profile SO HEMPERORS KNIGHT put that in your pipe and tell me i amspreading untruths I am tryingto point out a basic MISNOMER

kush can and is often use to describe a easy job.

A motorcycle has what's called a Kush drive.

There's a squishy ball that is called a Kush ball.

Then there's that actress from the 70's and 80's with the gnarly Spanish accent who would dance and say "kushie kushie". She was on the love boat n shit..... Charro!

Then there's kush, aka the misspelling of bush, hush, lush, mush, push, tush, rush, shush, krush and brush.

The area is called the "Hindu Kush" it's a mountain range, also referred to as the Himalayas I believe. It's a huge area. It doesn't pinpoint shit. Many countries are part of the range. Off the top of my head we got... Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India, Nepal, China.... I forget the rest.

I don't see what the big deal is. Skunk #1 don't smell like skunk. Tell Sam he should change the name and quit being so miss leading.lol

If anything all the Kush that came after the OG kush should only have Kush in their name. Unless everyone and the mother is trying to pass themselves off as the same plant, there is no need to claim to be the original. Like..... OGKB should have just been "Kush Breath" until everyone is trying to pass their bagseeds off as "Kush Breath", then you add the OG.

:tiphat:

I'm gonna go watch the original big lebowski again. Have you seen it? If not, you should. Make sure it's the original though!

No offense but I dont like pine and or lemon leaning strains/terepenes (perfer sweet and berry/grape etc.)

so much so that smoking a bowl of OG Kush gives me headeaches
or servere dry mouth/dehydration its pros out weigh it cons though eh,

however extremely popular making up the backbone of many west coast strains not a fan of the pine leaning stuff i have right now, maybe a poor flush on this but it came from a dispo idk

Those look nice nickman. I gotta say I'm crazy curious! I'm stoked to see his name on a pack of seeds and it's cool that karma did the breeding no doubt. Kinda weird thinking about how many packs over the past years have said OG on them. Don't shed a tear for that cat though.... he had the golden goose for YEARS! Haha it wasn't even fair!! Haha he got down!

finally snagged a real cut of fire og from a reputable nursery near me.

been running og hybrids from seeds looking for the real thing for years looking for anything close...

its a relief tbh, having the genes you know you love.

now its a race to move, build a flower room, and get some buds!

the one time in my life I have confirmed killer genetics, and I cant flower shit! I guess thats the way of the road bub...
Sounds like torture! :biglaugh: Atleast the hard part is over...accuring a reputable cut :good:

And I quote " They look like little Kush berries". Whatever that is, maybe its a real fruit or maybe its a reference to the nickelodeon plaything kosh ball? Besides we've all seen HK buds and those things are monsters.

Take a breath.....count to ten. Then go listen to Bubba Berger's Story. Nor for as long as I can remember, the bud from nor cal and Pac NW the bud always had either a coffee - skunk vibe, some times citrus nutty, and by the time the kush label came around it was never on our bud packs. We just called it all Humboldt especially if it had that coffe smell. The first time kush actual buba/ og came around it was being horded by a group of med school kids in the NE talking 5 for a zip. It was harvested early and dried fast crispy but it was dark with red hairs and frosted as fuck. In my opinion it an accidental 3 way of a pac NW nl5, bubble gum or blue berry and Calio my dos pesos

Sounds like Bubba Kush to me (the pre-98 cutting to be exact).
Bubba Kush is purported to be an old Oregon Afghani & with its frame & bud structure it makes sense to me. I don't think it's related to the OGs at all. There's no resemblance what so ever in my eyes.
