This is just another `murican-type of news. Bath salts don`t make you do that crazy stuff they say.... I`ve tried most of `em and trust me it won`t lead to that. MDPV/Methcathinone/Methylone (mdmc) / mephedrone (4-mmc) etc... trust me, most of `em. I didn`t eat anyones face off ... it`s just bullshit ameri-mediahype type of s**t . I have seen someone freak out after smoking "American Bath Salts",

Sorry for reviving this thread but it`s the type of stuff that`s eating on my soul.

This is what eats at your soul? That someone says bath salts are bad for you? Look it's real simple, if bath salts were the good wholesome recreational drugs you believe them to be then they wouldn't be sold as bath salts to avoid regulations and legal restrictions.

^ Yeah, really. I spent an extended weekend one time smoking PCP, and I lived through it. I actually had quite a bit of fun, to be honest. But the day I go around telling everyone PCP is safe because it didn't harm me is the day I kick my own ass.

Like Hempkat said, if it was so benign, we would see packets labeled "methylone" and "methcathinone" being sold openly in every store... not "bath salts" being sold only in the shadiest bodega.

The ones sold as bath salts aren't wholesome, but they aren't the nightmare drugs portrayed in the media. Most people still think bath salts made that guy in Florida eat someone's face, when the toxicology reports showed otherwise.

They aren't exactly wholesome, but drugs like mephedrone and MDPV are no worse than drugs like MDMA and cocaine. The general public believes the terrible things they read in the news because they don't know any better. They believe this generation's "reefer madness" because they don't have any personal experience.

Acid is my all time favorite, but that doesn't mean new designer drugs suck. Psilacetin (4-AcO-DMT) is better than shrooms in my experience and in the experiences of lots of others. Psilacetin is better than acid in some cases since it doesn't last as long.

The labels are there strictly to get around the prohibition laws. Everyone who buys mephedrone or MDPV online knows they're buying a drug. Literally no one buys these drugs online and thinks they're bath salts or plant food or whatever. They're clearly labelled with the names of the drugs.

They aren't harmless, specifically the cathinones and other designer stimulants. Cocaine isn't harmless either. I'm just saying the hype is overblown when it comes to the dangers.

I do believe the designer tryptamines are harmless when used responsibly. I've only seen those sold as "research chemicals", not bath salts.

Governments are on to a loser trying to stop all this now. They've got as much chance of doing that as I have of going down on Jessica Alba. The darknet has revolutionised drug dealing in much the same way as the mobile phone did in the 90s. Unless they want o make other mail order business unworkable, there is very little they can do, Sure they'll get some stuff and can track all that persons other packages, but the vast majority gets through, because they can't fuck with every single ebay and amazon parcel to catch someone buying an eighth of rocky or a bottle of liquid cid.

4-AcO-DMT is basically psilocybin with the phosphoryl group replaced with an acetyl group. It (and psilocybin) converts to psilocin in the body, so the basic effect is like shrooms without the side effects like an upset stomach. It's still legal in the US if it's sold as a "research chemical" instead of a drug.

At some point it will be added to the schedule 1 list if it's popular enough. By the time this one is banned, 20 new tryptamines will have been created. Prohibition can't work when it's so easy for chemists to invent new drugs. People still buy and sell the banned drugs all the time like you said.
