hey, anyone got any root mass pics? i know some of you are growing in clear containers...

you guys arent veggin long enough

i have mine in my veg tray with an automatic drip once a day. she dries out totally if i dont wet her at least once other than the auto feed but i cant change the auto timing for this one lil plant. i have a mister blttle with ph'd water only in it and i soak the coco sometimes twice a day with it besides the 500ppms of GH micro and bloom. yesterday she got a peruvian seabird and molasses crap tea after the water and prior to the feeding. after an emergency run to cvs, i now have another pepto cup to try another clone out... what strain should i choose this time.








b10narybud, i waited till the roots initially hit the sides and started down towards the bottom good then trimmed them flush. that was a couple weeks ago and she has done nothing but grow, grow, grow ever since! i may try to hold out flippin her till 4/20 for good luck...or something

You cut your roots flush? is it better to do this? My shot glasses are not growing the fastest

I'm wondering if my roots will need to be trimmed at all. No need so far. I'll think about it when I look in the bottom of the glass and can't see soil anymore. As it stands though I'm no where near root bound yet. I dunno guys. My past grows were always 4" pots and I would go for 8 gram colas on each plant. They'd be prerrty tight at the end but not too bad. Back in the day I did it with 2" pots but they were pretty much only roots left at harvest time.

Ever seen this guys grow back from OG...I saw it here but for those that haven't...here ya go..this is the one that inspired my perpetual grow, cause this is the same way I used to do it only not perpetual....and yes....you can laugh at all the little arrows...I sure did....only a stoner would do that.

Thats an awesom set up the guy has Bonsai.

Well it's been awhile since my last up date.

I fliped her on 3/24 and she seems to be doing pretty good,
fed her with BC nutes from techna flora and some Kabloom.

Not even close to rootbound yet.

Well ive reached 3week of 12/12 and just put a bit of soil into the bottom of pot checked roots(not rootbound or anything) and repotted, given a water(might have overdone it as a bit droopy) and popped back into the flower cab..
no sex signs yet, but still fun to see it be able to grow in such a small pot, its kinda cute being so tiny good luck peeps

Looking great guys! I bet root pruning would help because it encourages root branching and fiberocity..... gotta fill up as much of that soil as possible so theres more surface area for uptakes.....

I decided to check the roots and to repot the little one I also mtrimed back the roots alittle.

I never trimmed roots before so I hope I don't kill her, trimmed about a 1/2 in all around the root ball.
Pictures are before I trimmed.

Ok, I obviously have the smallest one here But then again I am just 2 days into 12/12.. so we'll see.. It's amazing how from seed the plant knows it's own limits.. height and size that is.. due to container restrictions. I have had to cut some roots as they tend to follow the wick down to the res. But as rules apply, no roots outside the Container. Oh and here's the root mass photo your looking for

These are bagseed, so we're not too concerned.... They take what they get... sometimes window light, sometimes a 60w incandescent..... Yeah, I know, CFL, maybe here soon....

Ashtray should be up soon.... Re-planted 2 days ago.

Wow pipeline, I thought that I was having a problem with stretch, until I saw this latest batch that is. She was about 3" when she finally got past her first node. Now she is about 4" and working on her 3rd and 4th sets of leaves.





Dont feel bad though, I know this contest is all about fun, and my girl doesnt qualify for the contest anyways. But she will be loved, as I know all of your girls will be.
