true enough Heady. I went searchin around last night to see what else has been said about it. That's the best point, about having a baseline to start from. I dunno though. does seem to make the finish times of my strains balance against what seedbay claims as finish time if I start from pistil. But alas. I just want to make sure we're all on the same page for our discussions. It's just for reference and nute measurements anyways, not for harvest but good to know when someone says they harvest in 70 days that they mean from lights out or is that really 84 days possibly if from pistils.

mmmmmmm LUI at 5:30 in the morning. 63 days from lights out....and now?...I'm lights out.

lookin good dopest!...doesnt look like you'll be veggin too much more.

as for when to start counting flower days ....it should be def. be from the day you switch the lights to 12/12. If you do it by when you start to see visible evidence its gonna be subjective.

Heres some updates for everybody. I've got a new seedling planted in a medicine cup. The 3 in the ice cube trays are finally starting to grow and roots are starting to come out the bottom. They are starting off really slow however.

The ones in the shotglasses are doing pretty well. They are filling up with roots and lookin good.

Here's HeadyPete's and My contribution as of this morning. about 6 days ago I hit them with a blast of nutes just to see what might happen...lol I water them with a tablespoon and filled the tablespoon with my nute mixter instead of water. gave them that days watering like that and since then I have mixed up a jug of water and nutes specific for them and watered normally with that. all that happened was a boost in bud growth. no major nute burn at all. what a thirsty plant.

oh and I started this thread and some of you have noticed and jumped on board, but I think y'all would like to have some fun with this one too. I think it'll be an ongoing thing and on that note was thinkin the same about this thread.

Is there really gonna be an end to it?... or will it just turn into a great place to have fun with shot glass grows? the "Fun competition" part is cool ya and some sort of "awards" not prizes would be cool.... how is all this gonna be working out again?

well I took these 2 yesterday of kalimist/x13/thai X DC. (22 days) she is already packin on the frost.

I havent touched the roots sine the 1 time I re-potted (re-shotted)

They have been getting full strength flower feedings w/ Fox Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom...and some seaweed bubbled for about 24 hrs befor feedings (trying to get them roots all the oxygen I can since there is no drainage)

Tomorrow the kazoo and film are getting planted up once again..... frost is coming and the indian style is likely not gonna make it. Still pretty early over here!

Got another container I'll be entering this time..... Might fit into the bonsai category too.......

1 of my lil plants is a male, the one i decided not to top.. I wanted to get a pic of him but never got around to it.. it was about 7" tall and had at least 7-8 nodes..

The other one is jus showing sex now I decided to flower it to force the issue.. still not 100% what cross it is, i think it's c99xDC.. i hope it's a girl.. i will get some piccies of this one regardless..

These are seed from a bag of shwag that had some purple color and a little bit of a good smell.... better than some other bags o shwag..... waiting for better weather until the good seed goes out.....

fire up your pumps or start pushing air.....any medium is welcome...just as long as roots are contained to 1oz. you can have a resevoir of any size.

EDIT: Failed miserably lol. Actually I just couldnt find a water pump alternative for such a small container so it never got started.
