Ok guys I cut it down, day 52 or 3 of flower. The lack of care in testing and measuring my water ph and soil ph finally caught up. Most of the upper fan leaves on the last cola I supercroped started getting rust spots that became necrotic. It spread to the rest of the plant. I blame myself. Otherwise the buds look ok I think no signs of budrot or pest. It was just looking too crispy around the edges....here are some pictures
You’ll notice I have a trimmed branch mixed in with the rest, that’s an experiment I’m conducting for final taste and smoothness.

I forgot to note that I weighed it after I cut the largest fans I could off, and final before dry is 148.5g

Can someone please enlighten me on how much weight you lose in the dry and cure.
I read something like expect 25-35% of the wet weight?! If I’m not stoned ( and I’m not...i think... ) that means 148.5 drys to 37-52 ish grams? I appreciate the micro situation, however, I see myself outgrowing this very soon.

You were using 160W isn't it? how much watts per sq feet?

Not at all upset at the yield just excited for more next time! Repuk you grow the most beautiful plants! I’m always drooling when you post pictures

Now on to veg it’s clone out for a few months, it had a bout with some root aphids, yuck, but I think it’s coming out ok

I wouldn't go further than 50watt per sq feet, and that's if your ventilation system is perfect.

Everything (specially in micro) starts falling apart once you go past that figure.

Achieving the perfect grow system/scheduling is an act of balance... balancing watts per sq feet with overall size/volume of the space, extraction, intraction... even pot and canopy sizes!

I think if you lower that, and try with a "known strain", good for SCROG, you'll master the gpw (and past) easily.

well... I cannot fully agree on that the bar has been set really high by masters like Terpene's, Blynx, Kaskadian (to name a few, sorry, my stoner memory!).

One thing is true: LEDs grow the most beautiful plants. Lack of heat stress seems to bring out the colors and nuances more, as it does with the aroma.

phew, I feel you... getting used to water soil being a 100% coco grower has been an steep curve! and still learning... soil mix is really important, there are masters here, double check that...

50w/sq is over 600w hps intensity guys! beginners do not want a run a 600w per meter and expect high yields and no fire hazards

i veg/keep mothers at 10w per sq, start flower at around 25w and at max its around 44w and at max, thats too much for some strains

Med - I love this image What is the max wattage rating on those sockets / max wattage per string? This may be the most ghetto fabulous way of maximally lighting an area (while still remaining more or less adjustable)

these ceramic sockets produce some heat so i have a 6 in fan pulling in cold air and that heats another room at night...72 degrees to 76 degrees \.

the sockets are rated at 60 watts.

the bulbs are 14 watts each = 4 x 14 =56 watts x 12 sockets is 672 watts.

i have to adjust the lights higher because i am flushing these and there is some leaf burn on 2 branches.

each 4 branch is 6000 lumens and 2 per plant is 12000 lumens

Max on the string is 1450 watts and is 24 light string from home depot and cost 47.99



looking to do a bubbleponic setup some day.

Not really. I remove leaves as they yellow out and die, but I don't strip the plants unless I'm running a really tight canopy.

Ok so after hours of dedicated studying i can say that the sweet sinsemilla that grew was much better than anything i could find locally.

the plant dried down significantly, what i assumed would be nice dense buds ended up something like little heavenly nuggets. not dense at all but sticky still. im proud of my accomplishment, i just weighed my bag and its sitting around 20g. (small samples were taken incrementally over the course of the dry) and the smell is sweet.

effects are euphoric and ive noticed a slight head pressure while under its influence. after a few tokes i found myself having a near religious experience. im excited to continue my experiments.

the current run is a sativa and im excited to learn with its growth, its rounding month one under 32w total with a mix of 2700k and 5000k
bulbs. in a few days its going under warmer lights 6-16w 2700k bulbs to be exact. as soon as i get pictures of the plant ill throw it up.

while im at it, medfinder those are some bitchen sockets, where might one find those?

Hello all. After being a creeper for years, and reading this thread more times than I can count, I made one too. First run was okay, fubar'd watering at day 47ish when i went on vaca for 5 days... they almost didn't survive.
Hopefully that wont be a problem in the future.

Just harvested a bubba kush and a blue dream auto under 5x 13w 2700k osram bulbs each.
Easiest setup in the world, just used my two 7-bulb fittings (with only 5 bulbs each)





I have to say once more I'm impressed with the penetration.
As you can see my canopy was far from even, still good results with only 130w .
