If someone has some solid proof that Ozone is dangerous, put the scientific data in here. Ozone is O3, and has a very short half life. It is fantastic and I use it in laundry room and other places to keep smells down. Hell there are a lot of people saying something is unhealthy, and then repeating it like it is scientific fact. If Ozone generators are unsafe they would certainly have some kind of warning to that effect. I make an ozone generator for less than $30, I have a thread on it. I am a senior engineer and I never take any thing for important fact strictly from a thread. A thread is the place to get the idea to do real research. People please open your minds before opening your mouths.

hey guerilla, for some reason on that site it's showing the vaportron (it calls it a vaportek wall cabinet?) as $24.99

i can't find the $60 one you're talking about anywhere

sorry if im being dumb and missed something obvious

edit, nevermind i guess you meant just put the vaportek (24.99) and the 12 cartridges (24.99) together and add the $10 shipping

thanks

Best of luck

I was not posting anything as scientific fact, only reasearch that I have found from numerous online sources. From what Ive rtead it never says that O3 is dangerous, but that too much O3 is harmful. I posted the one link, but a few others I have read have said the same, the amount of O3 needed to control the odor of a medium to large scale grow is hazardous. I never tried to present it as scientific fact, but rather only information to help others when choosing thier odor control methods.

One of my quest has always been to control odor without a carbon scrubber. The reason for this was i have very limited space really no room in my cab for a scrubber and the extra fan for the scrubber then with the fan comes more noise being im in a apartment. So first i order the little black plugin ozone unit. It worked but plugged in for to long u could really smell the ozone. So next i got the vaportonic system. And when i first got the unit I thought this think sucks. my house if warm out would smell like vanilla and my plants. So i was just about to to get the 4000, when i realized most people used the neutral scent, so i odered the neutral scent and it works perfect. i mean i have 2 disk in and if not turned down very low its too much. get it only ust the neutral scent and u wont be disappointed trust me.

If any of you are on meduser i posted a review about this unit on there before i got the neutral scent, and said i would not recommend it. if u could update it for me could u please. THANKS i dont have my login anymore and really didnt fill like i was wanted.

yeah the neutral smell is great, smells very fresh with a mild bubblegum smell like the old baserball card packs :yummy:

you and me were both after the samne thing smoke, I hate carbon scrubbers, not because they dont work, but because of the space they take up. I love my 4000 and the vaportronic so much that I'll never go back to a scrubber, Thanks Rez

you posted vaportec 4000 or whatever was the best hands down and now you just got the thing. you have no idea how long the disks last but you highly recomend it. no direspect man but i don't know if you can make an honest judgement without actually trying the product.
if whatever product works in your space, then thats the stuff to use. best luck.

nope, Ive had the vaportek for about 7-8 months now, and it is hands down the best odor control device Ive used by far, small and effective, just what I was looking for.

On the other hand, I just recieved my VAPORTRONIC (the smaller model) which I am using in my other room. Ive had it about 2 days and have said as mu8ch in every post. Its great, similar to the 4000, but I think mine is defective. When I look inside I dont see the screw used to control the fan.

Sorry you got that mixed up, honest mistake I guess :joint:

take care and stay safe

Yeah, its working, I just cant seem to adjust the small fan that is on the inside. Seems as if it may have been damaged in transit. No big deal, it should be fine, honestly its working fine without it, I just dont want to pay full price for a damaged item.

Take care

Guerilla if its like my wall unit there is no screw, flathead or phillips. Its a flat pice of rounded plastic as far as I can tall lol.Still works rather well

Hmmm... Im not doubting you but the manual that came with it says that to adjust the fan speed settings to use the phillips head screw within the housing. I looked on the inside and it looks like it may be in a location that cannot be reached unless taken apart. Either way it is not working properly, but still working. If it wasnt brand new Id probably say f*ck it lol, but brand new shit should work perfect.

Thanks for the info soilman :D

Take care, and no worries trust, thanks for the K+ :joint:
