THERE
IS
NO
NORTH
AMERICAN
UNION
It's just some bullshit conspiracy created by the neocons in order to rile up the "true blooded" Americans into being xenophobic and scared of the pale people to the north and the "brown people" to the south.
Seriously. Do research. All of the NAU shit is unsubstantiated, unadulterated, pure bullshit. No one is going to try to merge Canada/US/Mexico.
You're just falling into their trap in order to get you riled up. If they can make you hate our neighbors, they can distract you from real, substantive issues (such as the erosion of our rights via the patriot act, the farce that is homeland security, and the horrible, horrible foreign policy with which we seem to draw the ire of every civilized nation in the world). If there's something to get "riled up" about, don't get riled up about some fake xenophobic NAU propaganda, get riled up about the fact that the US is still pursuing a failed drug policy as well as taking away our rights.
Peace.
just like no one tried to merge europe? under one currency?
just like no one tried to merge our US banking system?
the CFR (NAU's parent group) along with the NATF has already published numeorus papers about the economic strength and raised security of a united north america. all papers were also backed by canadas ministry on foreign relations along with the mexico interest in relations of foreign matters
if you think NAU is a conspiracy your a moron. im not going into this because IC doesnt want to hear it. but its been well documented.
