Anyone ever grow the Panama Red offering from Pacific Seeds co? Just bought a 6 pack for 35 with shipping included. Seems legit from thee specs rundown. A lot of good reveiws on it on the web page. I know is not Oaxacan, but Panamanian might be similar in some ways? Doesn't take so long, is grown in highand areas often, very sativa morphology, heady cerebral high, an heirloom etc. Also want to get the Energenetics variety of Panama Red. Looks killer, very authentic. Also been mulling over the Araku and the Aceh from Indonesia, anyways have a good one all.

Was watching their Acapulco Gold, but it looks like that they took the Acapulco Gold from Barney's Farm and made their own seed. The AG from Barney's is actually Apple Pie (Acapulco Gold x Nepalese Highland) from Reeferman.

wanna say thank you for pointing this out, i think this is the AG i was smoking recently (from the dispensary, good but not amazing... still better than their typical "sativas" which are usually just some gelato or something), and it's definitely a good feeling to know what i've been smoking on.

I use to play with a highland oaxaca gold. It was quite a tasty smoke, pineapple mango pine flavors with some grainy earthiness. Still really enjoying some crosses made with it.

I've grown some seeds one of my cousins brought back from a trip to Mexico, he bought some buds around Oaxaca who were seeded, it's hard to know if those flowers were really grown at Oaxaca but it was at least Mexican weed this is sure. They had a smell/taste very similar to mushrooms, fermenting soil, it was very not smelling fruity at all and was a bit disgusting to tell the truth but the high was great, very hypnotic but it was really not smelling/tasting very good. I'm always surprised when I read some people describing their Mexican weed as fruity because my limited experiences with those genetics is very different, the brick I got was always smelling like earthy, forest soil and the seeds I grew made something similar, I've never had a fruity Mexican but I live in Europe where we don't have a lot of Mexican cannabis. I'd like to grow some fruity mexican and specially a pineapple smelling one.
