Killing it as always buddy! Looking stellar!

Glad to see those hazes survived the hail storm, that must have been a nail biting night :biglaugh:

The hailstorm lasted a good half hour, which is incredibly long. Then, the stones were the size of ice cubes from a tray and man, they hurt;) PLants were fine, but I needed some attention;)

Busy, busy, here are the outdoor plants. Big Rom is doing great with many pollenated preflowers puffing up, in flower since Aug 10th or so, while her outdoor clones are just shooting pistils now.

Her clones with the tiny little Black Tom Hill Haze that I call Christy Canyons for her usually bodacious buds and great smell. MadMac's hazes in background.

And sister, less accident prone.jpeg

Not a pistil showing yet. I'm cutting the whole tent in early week 10, next Saturday or Monday, may start flowering one of these crazy hazes in it.

Here's the tent today, at 57 days since flip to 12/12. Things could be taken today or even last week for some, but they all get this week to leech all the junk out.

Week 9 - pretty done at 57 days.jpeg

Some junky pics of the Oaxacan x Kali China, will get better ones at harvest, but pretty happy with how they turned out. I think temps were low as I was flowering at night, kept 'em from getting really fat, but lovely bud style. Back left, tall one is very dark and purpling as she finishes, while sis is staying green. Awesome.

Both Oaxacan x KC.jpeg
A disappointing pic of Oaxac x KC back left.jpeg
Oaxac x KC 2, pretty cool buds.jpeg
Another try Oaxac x KC 2.jpeg

Have a lovely day, going out for mushrooms;)

All righty - the 6 girls in the tent have been harvested at 64 days 11/13.

Here are some highlights - Oaxaca x Kali China 1, my choice back left, is a fruity, purple-black beauty.

Her sister, the green one, has a very strange style, more like a celery stalk, with equally odd terps. I have to give her time to know anything.

I am up to my butt in buds, will even do a gram per watt of just the keepers.

Whelp, guess everyone's a tad busy running around watering and harvesting and the like. Here are current developments in this adventure.

The big OHaze x Tom Hill Haze plants became clone donors to these girls, in the tent as of today in 11/13, daytime flower for more heat.

Hazeathon setup sep 24 11:13.jpeg

The finicky one on left has great vigor and a bit of tip burn from the repot in 50% coco, 50% build a soil just add water mix;) Nice stuff, top dressed the ROms and Black Toms with it too, bulked them up. The one on the right is Falling Over Haze's offspring, just really digs her medium, lovely color for the moment. I just give a little calmag now they're in coco and under LED.

Finicky Haze - they will both be topped and butts cleaned up for clones.

Candidate 1 - more finicky.jpeg

Falling Over Haze - Such a babe, probably more thh, looks potentially purple.

Falling over haze - love this one.jpeg

Flowering with them in the tent will be at least one big Black Tom Christy Canyons cut clone and the latest clone of Romulette, the lone seeded female from the Romulan Backcross bunch. They are both outside in 3 gal and in first week flower. Also probably going to bring in the outdoor CC that's at least in week 5 or so of flo. Serious stank to her, gorgeous. Don't know yet if I'll blumat the two hazes only on their own res, or just hand water. COuld leave the hazes in the back that way. They'll be there for a good few months.

Christy Canyons spires of she who may come in

Christy Canyons Black Tom close sep 24.jpeg

And little twin sis. Who shall come in. Nights hover around 40f.

CC genetic twin sister - just in flo and coming in.jpeg

And here is my Romulan patch, all one genetic plant, Romulette. Lame name because I was pissed I only got one girl;) Turns out to be a looker and smells excellent. Clones are all sensi, and all preflowers on the big mother are seeded with the two best males I had.

The Rom patch - all one plant.jpeg

Pic taken this morning, sept 24. Romulette shot first flowers August 10, Chair and Table Roms in 5 gal shot their pistils one month ago, now in week 5 flo, and close left is the girl just in flo coming inside with MadMac's hazes. Just find it wild this is all from ONE seed. Next post I believe is all Rom.

Here's the whole patch, can see Christy budded up on left. I brought her in the cold nights we had recently, but no one outside batted an eyelash, so back out they went. Looks like next two weeks good temp wise, no freezing.

Sitting in the morning sun sep 24 - CCs on left.jpeg

Just Roms next

All righty, let's see. You've seen them from afar and the bright light is difficult in the morning, but here they is in the AM.

This is all mama romulette, drinking 7-10 gal a day depending on temps

Looking pretty damn good for cold nights;) Can only guess they are smaller than they would be indoors. Still have 4 clones of her.

Here's the Rom coming in. If I could stuff the big ones in there, I really would, but for now, they seem like they'll do well OD and would take up too much room.

Wow :hotbouncethe Oaxaca x Kali China harvested buds look like resinous and colorful rockets from outer space! Damn, how did i miss this update ?! :yay:

Thank you so much deepwaterdude friend, reminds a lot your marvelous Haze x Kali China harvest.
Eager to learn more about their scents and effect, and how they compare with the other Kali China hybrids you have experienced.
Hope you are having a lovely start of autumn :ying:

Hi, Dubi, thanks for reminding me to keep up with these;) I smoked a big J of the green one recently and it was remarkably up, astringent flavors, terps have definitely evolved from live plant to aggressive marijuana smell, no fruit.
The purple is more familiar, similar to other fruity KC hybrids, but definitely the effect of the Oaxacan is as rocket like as the buds' appearance;) More time needed for cure, but definitely interesting, maybe unique, and more zoomy than the ZAmaldelica x KC.

Here are all the present plants, 3 big Rom clones still running and two Black Tom Christy Canyons cut that are performing as they should indoors in cooler weather.

Here are Romulette's buds, taken during a snowstorm 9 weeks from actual flowers with mature seeds (huge score) and buds that wanted another 10 days or so for perfection. Pretty zoomy stuff, very satty and pistillate compared to the S1s I ran. I'd say this mother is a satty outlier, maybe throwback to one of the three tropicals used in the mix. Indoors probably 11-12 weeks from flip. But, I'll know more when her clones finish, first flowers august 21, then the last that's been run entirely indoors will be quite different, I imagine.

Here's the tent today

Table rom indoors for a few days. She's starting to fatten more like the indoor roms I remember.

Last of this particular Romulan for a while, gonna make real nice flowers indoors. Fat tops and thirsty girl fed twice a day now.

Here are the Black Toms (BLR x THH), Christy Canyons cut performing much better than the last run.

And lastly, I've been bringing the chair romulan in at night. Looks like she can stay out for the week. Probably get cut before tent sister.

Chair Rom stays out now.jpeg

I will definitely do a search through the BX F1s to find better females for smoke. Got about 200 seeds so far, just from pollenating preflowers. I find 2 at the base of every node;) Can't wait to see what they produce.

It must be time to test it again, cause I don't remember! Fine with that. Thanks for the kind words, bro;) Anything with KC in it will have some mad unique terps, and who can argue with a legendary Mexican? The purple is fruity and a little more balanced than the green one that has very strong, aggressive marijuana stank, almost vegetal. Have to resmoke both.

Just cut the outdoor Romulan and have to address some PM on the Christy Canyons cuts in the tent. Algae on cloth pot is wreaking havoc with pH. Buds look amazing and the Rom doesn't take the PM even though the source is sitting right next to it;)

Thats awesome Deep can't wait for the next batch of pics.

Thanks for the reminder;) Your favorite female was sweet, more like I expected from the S1s, but I didn't get quite as good pics as you did. These are from Oct 27, day after I cut the "chair rom".

Chair Rom 3 days before cut oct 26. Very nice plant run sensi, tight buds, smaller than her sister finished indoors. Leafy pheno run outdoors, not as bad indoors.

Rom down sat oct 23.jpeg

What was Chair Romulan.jpeg

Here's the sister that got to go 11 full weeks of flower, got quite large;) lost one top to mold, may have been the source of the PM in the tent.

lots of big buds to harvest saturday or monday.jpeg
Rom in week 10 since flowers.jpeg

And the one that is still going, she looks like around 7 weeks in in these pics. Haven't seen that many plants with this kinda frost, like a cookies strain on the bottom buds and leaves. Not incredibly evident in these photos.

Like these mini bungee chords Rom in back.jpeg
Last Rom - nice fat flowers.jpeg
rear romulan, may repot as well.jpeg

I can't yet say much about the smell as I got covid right around harvest time and it's not entirely back yet;) Pot tasted like wormy dirt, plus metallic. Just starting to be able to appreciate terps...

Next post harvested buds and today in the tent.

Here's the girl still going just an hour ago, ended up getting nicely doused with Sodium Bicarbonate this morning, turned all remaining pistils red, but otherwise happy girl here starting week 10 from flo. She will swell more and go 11.5 weeks or so.

Romulan in 2 gal.jpeg
Clone is very nice and frosty indoors.jpeg

The baking soda definitely killed the pistils, but no worries.jpeg
A rom top in week 9, still bit o milk on the leaves.jpeg

As far as yield goes, pretty huge on this mother and her clones. Wish I'd had better weather at the end, but still got 5 full jars of primo buds of the seeded mother, 4 from chair rom, really nice and tight outdoor, and easy 1/2 lb from table rom, the big one finished in the tent. Really nice buds, I'd describe so far as a power sativa, not narcotic but highly altering... I still can't taste it, but I'll have a ton more feedback, especially when the indoor clone gets done. I have hundreds of seeds from trimming the mother buds, gonna pop around fifty and look for stank, only run the smelliest then try to reverse the best one. Never done that. I suck at dry bud pics, but yield pics I can do;)

The mother plant (bottom 5) and chair rom (top 4) trimmed and gtg.

Bottom five romulette, top 4 are chair rom, finished outdoors.jpeg

Table Rom, huge load of really great buds finished indoor. Gallon freezer bags.

Coupla gallons of Table Rom finished indoors.jpeg

Promise better shots of the tent finish. The buds drop a huge amount of kief, it's lovely.

Here's the Black Tom Christy Canyons' cut about to be harvested and clone in the tent. Also just drenched in baking soda, some remnants of milk on the leaves.

Thanks, Jake, hope you didn't mind the superlong post in your other thread;) Lots of info.

Yes those were the backcross seeds that didn't pop the first round, other 9 were fine, but only one female so needed to seed her;) I and another friend both got incredible keepers from the S1s, he's still running his while I'm trying to find another.
I wish you guys still had some of your Katsu crosses available, they looked amazing. Any coming up, or others you dig?

We have a satisfaction guarantee brother. If you send an email, we will set things right on you only finding 1 female in a pack and having multiple dud seeds.

Also we still have plenty of the Katsu Collab crosses available. If you go to my website, and visit the page that has links to all of our seed banks, you can find that several of them have 1-4 different things that didnt totally sell out. I know that Neptune Seed Bank and Golden Ticket Seed Bank have multiple things left in stock.

Well Grown Seeds is going to start dropping 3 new cultivars of ours this week I believe, and they are restocking our Romulan "BX1" seeds as well.

We also still have Romeoz left (about 10 packs) through our own site, and 2 more Katsu collabs are still dropping (in March and April). You cant go wrong with Romeoz.

Id say you can still get at least half of the different reg seed crosses we did together if you take a minute and check all of our seed banks.

Much appreciated, man;) I would love to try a cross, will shoot your folks an email. I'm going to put the S1 keeper I found over on your thread, what a beaut.

Apologize to the Ace folks for the off topic, I love that Rom almost as much as Panama Haze - It's a power sativa in indica clothing;)
To share with you guys where we are over a joint of dubi's very strong green Oaxacan x Kali China pictured above, my Romulette repro turned out great, 100% germination on 16, kept 9, got 4 girls and kept another dark breeding male. Very happy.

Here they are day 13 of 11.5/12.5

Male has been outside the tent for just a few days in the sun. He's starting to put on some real flower, gorgeous plant.

El macho Rom repro.jpeg

The babes alongside a small BLR cross on left in photo.

4 little fatties - all very distinct.jpeg

#3 Mean Green - last of her particular leaf shape, like the dad's. She has thumbs on her latest water leaves;) So does numba 8.

Number 3 Mean Green - tightest leaf shape, no purp.jpeg

Numba 6 - ideal open structure like my S1 fav, got purple in her and is tallest of all run, including males.

Numba 6 - ideal babe.jpg

Lucky Number 7 is very fat leaved, weepy, long pistiled, also large structure.

Lucky 7 - big, fat leaved girl.jpeg

There were two twins of number 8's odd type, size and color, other was a male. They have lighter green, sawtoothed leaves with purple in them and candy cane stems. Male is no more, but I love this female so far.

Number 8, purple outlier.jpeg

Here are her innards, also somewhat tighter internodes than others, even the green.

Numba 8 structure and color.jpeg

The green Oaxacan x KC I'm smoking has very strong terps - pure marijuana smell, lovely oldschool smell burning, with no fruit. Hope everyone's healthy and doing well; will get back to the C5 x Kali China this year and I believe I have some Thai Chi in the fridge, have to look, something I need to grow;)
