Looking forward to seeing these flower out :)

Me an' you both, MD. I love flowering unknown stuff, like opening wrapped presents, and if I'm flowering known stuff, it's because I love it already;) Can't go wrong!

The girls in the tent are expanding predictably, with at least my preferred Oaxac x KC stretching like a sat and her sister resembling more the HB x CC crosses, so probably KC dominant, which I am all for. A plant structured and terped like KC with the added head sparkle of the oaxacs is pretty much the ideal...

I labeled and took clones from the 8 Roms, then neemed 'em and culled the runt of the litter when her neck broke under the weight of the spray, so 7 are left. They will need to be serisouly staked and tied tonight, or they'll break like little sis did.

Will have to stake this mess.jpeg

Hope everyone's well and happy;) deep

Hey, Ncali, man;) Hope you're doing well and thanks for reminding me to post some pics.... Buds there are already and some Olympic stretch on my chosen Oxaca x KC, and the rest of the babes too, but her especially.

Here are the 3 plant groups this AM. All Rom clones are rooted in the air cloner, so just waiting on the outdoor to sex to kill off a few males. Their roots are getting a bit boiled in the black, plastic pots - I forgot why I don't use them in the desert sun! Females will get repot for sure. The seven remaining Roms...

Tent girls must be coming up on three weeks... nope, exactly 2 weeks today, so better than expected development fer sure;) The Headbanger x Cake Crasher have got two early, two late, so quite lovely, and the Oaxacs x Kali China are 50/50, one short one long;)

Da tent - 25 sq feet of foliage. You can see a bit more detail in the thumbnails... Just take a gander at that lady back left. Huge expansion over the last few days and budding already.

Click image for larger version Name:	The tent this AM.jpeg Views:	0 Size:	111.6 KB ID:	17894921

The third "group" are the two lovely little femmed Original Haze x Tom Hill Haze. Just repotted and happy in heavy ceramic pots, better protecting the roots. I still have no real plan with these, but the tent will open up in 2 months or so... If I can keep them reasonable, they may go inside at that point.

image_2056459.jpg

That's the news;) I'm puffing all the various Black Toms these days; the Christy Canyons cut has great appeal in taste and bud style, the sugar lemon green is my starter pot for any endeavor, and the first Black Tom incensey example is getting better and better for doing music and creative stuff. All are very much like my favorite Panama Haze in inspiration and taste. The Romulan from last run is starting to be really good smoke, even if not the equal of her sister, Romulus. This Zamaldelica x Kali China from last season is still keeping me high;) Great plant and strain. Phenomenal yield of mango/melon flowers on this girl...

Hi everyone, wanted to thank the admins for upgrading and enabling me to post pics again;) This thread has been my home for many years, so I'm happy to be able to participate.

Down to business; in the flower tent I've got two clones of a Romulan mother from last round, not my favorite example of the strain, but still very good, exceptional crystal and the last S1 I had, so cloneroo I did. They're at 1 month in alongside my chosen cut of Black Tom (Tom Hill Haze x Black Lime Reserve from baked beanz). I call her Christy Canyons after the film star;) Most examples of that strain have leaned toward the haze with added bulk and flavors from the blr, but mainly haze effects and terps; frankincense and pepper, with only the green ones being full on lemon, much like the panama goddess mother. Christy Canyons is a fat budded, purple/black example with incredible flavors on inhale and exhale. The effect is a bit heavy for me, but I love the taste and bud style, and she's the most obviously desireable according to other smokers who go wild over her. The other plant in the tent is beanz' Lime Madness x BLR2, satty leaning example. I call her Lynda Carter after Wonder Woman of the 70s, because she's pretty fricken incredible. Coming down next week after 16 in the tent.

Here's the tent as it stands - Roms in front, then the Black Toms CC cut, then big ol' Lynda Carter bringing up the rear.

On deck we've got 4 of beanz' headbanger x cakecrasher fems on left, looking for a keeper, 2 Oaxaca x Kali China, the happiest of that bunch, then 2 Ohaze x THH. I'm a huge fan of Kali China crosses if you don't know me, and these will not disappoint. They have just great vigor and attitude.

Alongside those 8 fems, I've got 8 Romulan backcross going in pure coco. The first 4 were popped alongside the bigger batch and died after showing tails. Tad finicky. Pics are from a week ago, but these 8 seem solid.

Christy Canyons BT mother up close, repotted well after stretch from 1/2 gal to 3 gal. Clones will be massive as in 3 gal since before stretch.

And here's the S1 Romulan mother for this clone run, will be swapped out with better one from the b X hopefully. It's unfortunately the only S1 that had intersex issues of the batch I ran. Watching the clones like a hawk, but so far so good.

And here's a closeup of Lynda Carter, Lime Madness x blr2. Flowered like a haze, starting in week 4 from flip. This is from may 11.

My first grow ith Ace, back in 2016 or so, I said I was looking for some mothers to keep and it's actually taken until this past year to actually dedicate a little space to that end. Love what I got so far;)

nice line up😎

nice line up😎

Gracias, Master Star Crash;) These are already in the bag, and I didn't do very well with flowering out the clones besides getting some very agreeable smoke. The Black Tom Haze Christy Canyons clones did not live up to Mom's great, brazen buds. Did not get the plants to express well in the heat. Present grow so much better.

Lynda Carter, on the other hand, is splendid smoke.

Hi deepwaterdude, glad you are still enjoying a tasty Zamaldelica x Kali China from last outdoor season. Mango and melon terps sound :yummy:
So nice to see you so busy and happy with the gardens! :) Plants look perfectly shaped, healthy and pest free, really promising friend.
Thanks a lot for the updates and great vibes your presence always bring in! ;)

Ayayay, you said it star crash just don't google her;) I prefer her in film form.

Thanks, Sir dubi , it could be a good run outside, definitely killing it in the tent at the moment;) Both Oaxaca x KC are lovely, and perfectly different. Still trigger pretty quickly, within the first 2 weeks of 12/12, and stretch is moderate, even with the tall one;)

ALright, after what feels like a very long time with the Rom backcross plants, the final count was... 1 female and 7 males, 4 dud seeds😂. Unheard of. Anyway, I kept 4 clones of the female and the best two males for pollen and have some great hazes to hit with it as well as the Rom repro. All this outdoors. The indoor grow is absolutely nuts, crazily good looking. The HB x CC have just enormous leaves, dinner plate sized, and the oaxacs are keeping pace with them insofar as flowering, the big one easily 2 ft over the net, lol. Flowers and plant health is excellent, but you'll get pics of tent tomorrow.

Lone female romulan, just repotted, next to OHaze x THH. Ceramic pots really help keep the roots cool in the desert.

OH x THH and Romulette.jpeg

Same haze plant

Slightly larger sister haze

IMG_0234.jpeg

Two Rom dudes, quite different. One big, light and lanky, the other stout, dark and tight to the stem, best of the males.

IMG_0233.jpeg

Romulette - nice, middle of the road example, looks like.

IMG_0236.jpeg

I'll try and defoliate the tent moderately tomorrow and get some pics at three weeks since flip. Going to be a bit of a shock;)

Yeah love the look of the Haze juxtaposed to the Romulan!! It certainly will start to really be a dramatic difference in the coming months.

Off to the nursery to shop for ceramic pots I guess.... hahha, good tip.

hanks, Ncali and @Ur Humbl Nr8tor;) Took me a while to figure out why ceramic works in hot places like Spain and Morocco, and equally here in New Mexico desert. The black plastic pots get extremely hot in the sun and burn the root tips, leading to what look like deficiencies in the leaves, etc...

Just potted 2 Romulan clones of the lone female backcross into three gallon to go outside (now outside). Also took a couple from the larger of the two OHz x THH that has a branchier bottom than the other.

Here're the promised indoor pics from 3 weeks since flip, a few days back now on Friday, July 16. Stretch seems over for the Oaxacan x KCs and they're both flowering really well. Thank God I put that one Oaxaca x KC in the back or we wouldn't see any other plants;) These days, everyone starting to stack... middle left headbanger x cake crasher is thinnest of the 4 and latest to flower. Everyone else is on track.

this is close to where the stretch stopped... rear left Oaxacan x KC almost hitting the carbon filter;)

3 weeks.jpeg

Rear left Oxacan tops in center and tall ones in back... filling in much more than the massive wld in front of it;)

Tall Oaxacan x KC.jpeg

Here's the middle and back right - HB x CC, fattest of the bunch, then Oaxaca x KC 2, more moderately sized than sis.

Right middle and Oaxacan x KC behind.jpeg

There's more detail in the thumbnails for those interested in the HB x CC. They are already starting to stink and cover any smells I might notice from the KC cross, haha;)

Here are the outdoor girls and boys. Rom dudes already dropping pollen, looks like the rom lady caught some;) I chose a middle of the road male, plus a very dark and tight one. Two best.

Light male then female Romulan clones from Romulette... I may have to bring them in to veg if they shoot pistils too soon.

Here is the crazy tent at 4 weeks since flip. The back left Oaxaca x Kali China is exactly as I imagined, amazing spires, filling in fast as anyone in the bunch. The back right Oax x KC is just stopping its stretch maybe, and starting to fill in its long colas. I didn't think she'd get this tall, but wrong again, happily;)

4 weeks since flip.jpeg

Plants are about 30-40% bigger than I thought they'd get with much more under the net than I would've liked, but hey. I think the culprit is a boost of seamax veg right in the first few weeks as I was out of flower nutes. They took the nitrogen and ran with it;)

I'll feature the two Oaxac x KCs and leave the rest in thumbnails. Got one crazy amazon pheno of the HB x CC that is challenging Oax x KC left for primacy. Here's left side with O x KC's already fattening spires;)

My girl Oaxaca x KC.jpeg

Here's the Oax x KC back right catching up. The nicest, or at least fattest, of the HB x CC is right in front of her.

That's the news at 4 weeks;)

Outdoor plants august 10th.

The two OHaze x THH are amazing - getting a bit tall.

Da Hazes via Asha by Madmac - Ohaze x THH.jpeg

Here are the outdoor repotted clones and hazes

Romulette clones and Christy Canyons tiny girl.jpeg

Romulette is a big baby (the stakes are 4ft) and starting to flower, now joined by the above 2 clones and one tiny Christy Canyons cut of Beanz' THH x BLR, all just repotted in pure buffered coco.

Romulette beginning flo.jpeg

Was happy to see the roots on the Romulan mother were absolutely massive and healthy before repot, really enjoying themselves in the mister/cloner. Christy Canyons is the tiny little thing next to her. She took forever to root. 4 rom clones and Ohaze x THH in cloner now.

In the tent at day 46, I'm already cutting the nutes for the Headbanger x Cakecrasher plants while keeping the Oaxac x Kali Chinas going with food. It is very hard to get to them or to get a decent closeup as the mid left HB x CC is a light hog, so I apologize for the lack. They look really quite good, drinking madly. Days here are 85-90f, so the girls are not getting cool nighttimes...

Da Tent mid week 7.jpeg

Trying to get close to the Oaxacs on the last line is not easy;) Here is my fave on left, competing with the hoggy HB x CC mid left, very cake crasher dom.

Oaxacan spires getting dusty.jpeg

Here's the one on right that has lengthened her spires to compete with the other. Different, but recognizable flat tops from the KC... which you can't see from the pic. Fat bud on right is HB dom mid right HB x CC.

Oaxac x KC 2.jpeg

Bud pics front left - cc dom

Front left.jpeg

Front right lowers - nice HB fatness with CC style to her. Lovely fruity stank.

Front right budlets.jpeg

Mid right - fav HB dom or well balanced... hard to tell.

Middle right.jpeg

Here's the one I almost killed but that is putting out madly. Thought it would be a big headbanger dom, but she spread her amazon wings and covered them in quite nice cakecrasher buds. Really, really good style, extreme frost. Always run the amazons;)
