Fluffy, light, but big and thick buds.

Whats the overall effect?
The Oax is very very relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. It is quite potent, however the potency varied from nug to nug (of the same plant) The Oax has a very strong Spicy smell, almost like oregeno or something lol. Good tho, and has a unique taste.

Man I was supposed to go to Oaxaca this year but the damn crisis going on there with the teachers and all kinda put a major damper on that.. Is your family still down that way, oaxacaspice? If so I hope they didn't get too impacted by the economy getting hit so hard over it.. I was very sad to hear about it, I've been dreaming about Oaxaca for quite a few years.. We were going to go for dia de los muertos this year..

My girlfriend has been collecting related items for years, and my first tattoo is going to be this picture..

Beautiful looking buds guys, its rare I get the chance to smoke pure sativa in this part of the world - would make a welcome change sometimes.

This may sound a little dumb but someone tell a slightly embarrassed scotsman how to pronounce Oaxaca? im thinking its like wax-a-ka but its one of those words you're scared to say for fear of sounding like a dumbass.

I was in Oaxaca and Escondido, a surfer site in which I just body surfed with no fins (mere wave catching), I should have brought my ice-o-lator to turn the weed in to hash :Super Toker buy pounds of weed and ice and make some water hash so that you can travel around Mexico trouble-free!

I lived near the border for a few years and moved around 6 months ago to Oregon. before i left I was gettin Ls for $475 few seeds but killer buds. took some to cali to my brother in law(he smokes only cannasouer? quality. i packed a bowl of mine he packed a bowl of his both tasted identical, same high, he got a 1/4 L from me before I left,lol. I knew I was moving to Oregon ahead of time and started saving seeds from special batches like that one. I have prolly 5000 seeds if not more all grown in an open pollenation theme....gotta love it.

No one seems to come across that killer greeen bud that jorge cervantes talks bout in his high time colums about the killler bud these mexicans are growing in the mountains 24,000 sq ft under plastic anyways i guess you really have to know someone to get that killler stuff most of the strains those farms grew were sage n sour all the serious seed line and a few more

I have been able to find just such cannabis. It was much higher quality and potency than what I presented earlier in this thread. It was acquired in Michoacan on the pacific coast in a small town on the beach. I was staying at a little cabana hut on the beach, and the owner was able to acquire some very high quality sativa bud sticks that just knocked my socks off. The only true one hit shit I've ever really found in a decade of toking high quality reefer.

Many other places in Mexico have good herb. Some of it is imported from US growers and is high quality hydro, possibly even from BC or locally grown indoors.

Other places are high in the mountains, where local farmers grow mediocre herb, and then process it into various kinds of hash. I bought a 10 gram "golf ball" of very potent "handrub" style hash for 400 pesos about a year ago.

When I lived in Quintana Roo, all I heard was about how good the Oaxaca weed was. We also got the 10 gram hash balls where i was at as well. Always a good addition to some mediocre mid grade
