Oaxaca, Mexico - Trip Report with pictures

I have arrived safely. Here are some pictures of a few different types I was given/aquired. Its everywhere. This is seedless, grown in the local mountains. Price 800 Pesos. Is about 100 grams. Very nice flavor, and gold in color. Surprising quality, and taste. More to come. I have many more pictures from the trip down (3000 mi), but still need to process them. This weekend a friend and I are heading to the mountains to a guys ranch to get some killer chronic nugs. They say this time of the year most of what is fresh is irrigated. It is fairly crystally, and the strain appears to be of a sativa origin. There are also many types of hash available.

The tacos are good, so are the enchiladas, and the tlayudas, and the chocolate, and the fish (filete a la diabla is my favorite), and the roasted chicken is great too. I love the pollo al carbon which is like jamaican jerk chicken sort of. you can buy a whole roasted chicken, with rice, and salsa from as low as 30 pesos up to 80 pesos if its a huge bird. i eat the whole thing with some tortillas, and its great. puerco pebil is good too, with a tequila and lime or $1 cerveza. everytime i smoke a J, i run out and try another new place to eat.

I was scoring pounds @ 600/per and kilos at around $1000 flat....

man I wish you could have found oaxacangrower from og...he had the purple chicken and they were the best tastiest frostiest skunkiest sweetest purple afgani nugs oaxaca had ever seen...and then there was the lima limon (haze year 1), and the michoacana which you acquired. makes me want to go to el zocalo and monte alban and mitla....did you make it to huautla de jiminez while you were down there?

I have some of the Oaxacan sativa seeds Gypsy brought back from Mexico - I also have the perfect climate to grow 'em in, although perhaps a little too humid. I'll get around to popping em next year maybe...this year I want some indicas for the stash.

Mmm, Im a little late, but I love some good Oaxacan. I have a good friend who happens to be from Oaxaca.. and he brought several thousand high quality highland Oaxacan seeds with him when he moved to the United States. They are his familys strain... Pure Sativa, very crazy psychedelic high. Grade A stuff I'll ask him to stop by this thread.
