how in the world did they get mature plants(specifically pics 7 and 8)in the short 60 days since getting approval? they must have had a large portion vegging already to throw into flowering...perhaps they started illegally....just my observation...

dick lee is most likely the person who's warehouse this is. his club sells shitloads of shitty clones everyday, there veg room is very big....
they most likely used his clones, which everyone knows is beyond horrible. probably why this grow looks like such shit.......
on a different note, i have been talking to several collective owners lately. one of them had several investors to get a permit to get one of the Oakland warehouses. 4 of them had $60g's to go in on the $250k for the permit. when they showed up to pay, Oakland raised the price to more the double what they first asked for.....
btw, there are commercial grow certificates available, not in Oakland. to grow for 1000 patients, cost $10k.....
and Oakland now has grow spaces on there piers available. they are renting spaces the size of shipping containers. they want you to buy the prefab shipping containers and rent there space, its fairly cheap for rent, but many people are jumping on it......

well at the latest after reading these nasty ideas of other growers, they will invest in pollen filtering on all intakes, lol. this is not a corporation you are planning to sabotage with pollen. this is just a large scale indoor production facility.
what we need to fight for is to make it so everyone can, if they have the ability and know how, to build such a grow op. then no one needs to be sabotaged with hemp or ruderalis pollen.
for now be glad this guy is willing to stand in the front lines of this fight, ready to face the feds in all likelihood.

no need to freak out, no one is in all seriousness gonna do the pollen thing, it's just a tongue in cheek comment on a message board. further more, i think you'd have a hard time convicting anyone of pollen contamination. the cops will laugh their asses off if you go in there and make a complain that your 2000 lamps grow factories pot crop got seeded.
anyway there will be plenty of legitimate male pollen in the air after 19 passes, so those factories better invest in proper intake filtration. all those amateurs that will be doing their first ever 25sq foot gardens will be sure to cause some males to be left un culled.

i hear the tongue & cheek talk and thats probably all it is and no that type of protection isnt in prop19 but once Cannabis becomes legal then all state laws regarding the destruction of personal property would apply.
by pollinating a crop one would lessen the value of the harvested bud and depriving the owner the right of the unseeded value. this total $$$ loss would be where the crime occurs, Criminal Mischief, and im not sure the threshold in dollar ammounts to make a CM a felony but im sure a seeded crop would have losses that makes it a felony.
so no, prop19 doesnt make any new law's just moving Cannabis into a legal commodity where current laws can be enforced just like every other thing that gets sold.

I agree but I wish the discourse was more civil. I'm really dismayed at the anger people are displaying. It's completely destructive to the community. They should of course be taking environmental issues into account...I heard they want to solar power the whole thing. But aren't there these massive indoor grows already?

imo people who really need pot fought long and hard to make it accepted as medically useful. we all voted for medical mmj, and the rest were lazy on achieving decriminalization. the medical-only paradigm lends itself to wasteful, 100W, indoor (sterile), greedy (big pharma), mmj. phizer could give a fuck about pot since they have miillions of people addicted to pills.
I say that MJ won't become legal until the big Pharma, ADM, Conagra,Monsanto types can figure out a way to cash in. How may they do this? by buying laws at the Federal level, they already are doing this anyway so they know the ins and outs. making them the only legal growers, or some type of genetic patents or a combo of all. Most likely all the above. It'll suck but the stealth growers will still be around. You can bet the big agra companies are gearing up for industrial hemp if they get the chance.

i think bedrocan and the other big pharma corps pumping out thosands of pounds is gonna hurt the local community way more than some angry voices on a message board.
but seriously....these guys are gonna steamroll our industry, the days of being an independant grower making a nice living are over. either sign on and get paid a measly 35k a year to tend to bedrocanns crops, or find a new job. makes me pretty fucking angry that they are taking over the cannabizz.....

Everything is gamma-radiated after it has been harvested here.I don't know if they will do the same practice in Oakland.
