Looking great jay!!! You should really have a great yeild will the 1200w's going!!! The a/c unit keeping your temps in check? Thats another good idea in your list of many. I decided to do some training for yeild after the fire instead of cloneing and adding more time to the grow.So I'm just gonna grow a monster instead! I know I'll be running into temp problems by the end of the next month so I'm gonna add a 5 gallon jug and fermenting some sugar water for a Co2 boost and build a little halo system for delivery. Should prove interesting

the first run in the bed, when i discovered NFU (my Nine fingered Urkle) i made the mistake of not fimming, or LSTing her. and i regret it through out her life. ill never grow xmas trees in the bed again, thats for sure.
Height in a factor in the bed obviously... specially now with 1200 burning, i wouldnt wanna get them too tall afterall.
Tool rocks bro. and the other band Maynard is in you are trying to think of is "A Perfect Circle". i like them too..

Don: the AC unit is actually taking it easy so far. its just on FAN. havnt needed the AC just yet. but soon enough... its getting warm here.
but shes ready and waiting to do her thing.
she cools the bed in minutes... so im sure she will have no probs keeping temps in check
Good LST work... i doubt you learnt anything from me, but you are doing a good job by the looks bro! she will be a happy monster in the end.

yeild... well... hard to say really man.. i got room for 8 more girls in there.. and i got alot less numbers than the first run. but have decided to not go perpetual.. and instead, keep most of this crop for personal, (coz im fucking sick of buying junk weed that doesnt even get me high) and then run the bed again with all my Urkles that are in veg...
fill that bunkbed right up... and shoot for good weight.

first grow i got 5.3 ozs from 8 Purple Urkle plants.. everything else wasnt weighed... just smoked. lol
last time was with not much LST or fimming work. this time, i have bigger girls, and under more light, but less numbers. so... hey.. who knows.. and who cares. im not into guessing games with yeild. lol.
what ever i get, it was i get.

wow does Soylent green stretch! im enjoying seeing such different strains grow side by side for comparison. this girl was one of the smallest in the bed at flip. right now, she has stretched to nearly the height of #5 Urkle!


not many nodes... not sure why, but if shes anything like the other one i had 5 weeks into flower, the tops are where the bud is at.
she would be a prime candidate for multiple Fimming early in veg, and trim her right up. infact, she would be great in a Scrog

ive been slacking, and realised i havnt shown yas teh veg room for a while, and also havnt shown updates on the NFU clones i took for the tutorial.
both took very well, and have been out of the dome for about a week already. slight tugs on the stems tells me they both rooted...
now its just some love and care, and they will be in with round 3. for a full bed run.
looking forward to it.

once we hit a new page, i will also show yas the SG and G13D i have outside in the same 3gal bag. and will also show yas the hard digging work ive put in outside.
digging sucks with a bad back and arthritis... but its nearly all dug and ready

NZ, lots of buds starting there.
I hope that lst thing works for you.
I have a couple in bloom that I tied down and I going to have lots of small stunted buds. Part of my prob was a deficiency they got right after LSTing them, so it's not the technique's fault. I think. I mean caligreen LSts and has fat buds.
Some strains like it better than others I think too.
LST with hydro. that would rock.
As always, great thread, I love reading your posts and all the crazy folks that chime in.

Whoa - that's gonna be a monster haul dude. I especially like 2 and 4, great LSTing on that. That yellowing from the flash just shows where the new growth is, I really like that effect, the number 5 top down shot kinda reminds of stars or little planets - know what I mean? I'm pretty baked atm but I mean like this:

Did you start the soylent green and g13d at the same time as the urkles? The g13d has unusual leaves, looks pretty cool too.

Hazy: hmm.. stunted buds from LST???... did you lst while in flower???...
Once in flower, i hardly touch the girls for that very reason. tighten a string here and there, but thats about it, coz ive always been wary of stunting the bud growth.
this early in flower, in my opinion, is very important for the plant to get off to a care free start.
i do all my training (fim, lst, supercrop) in veg, and only in veg.
ill leave my strings on the whole grow too. i noticed some people take them off..
some strains for sure like LST better than others... just gotta talk to ya girls.. ask them what they like ...and how rough.. hehehe..
LST in hydro would rock! i woulda liked to try LST when i was growing in the DWC! woulda been interesting!.. hehe

Sammet: hehehe yeah! i see it... does kinda look cool i guess.. at first i was bummed coz they always look sick when the pics come out like that... but hey.. i see it everyday, and its not yellow in real life... and thats all that counts i guess.
2 and 5 are my favs... and NFU 1 is starting to really show off her talents too.

ummm.. lets see... Soylent green was started (from seed) about 2 weeks after the Urkle clones were taken... so shes a little behind in age, and the G13s... well.. thats a whole other story.
all 3 are revegs remember?... they were 3 weeks deep into flower when my 600 watt died. so they went outside, (for 4-5 weeks) and started vegging again.
now here they are back in flower. i had a Soylent green 5 weeks deep the same time. but i chopped her and smoked her. lol.
i think thats why the weird leaves, and even stranger bud structures on the g13s though. when they were in flower the first time, they didnt look like this at all. im not too worried if they dont turn out killer/pretty. they are gonna be personal smoke that i will enjoy either way

Yeah, the difference between the Soylent Green and Urkles is so very obvious! they seem to be on complete oppisite spectrums of the MJ gene pool! lol. Urkles are short, and dont stretch too much, SG is going nuts! lol
SG gets a earthy, like peppery smell. and the urkles are the fruity kind.

i get the feeling itll be SG for breakfast, some G13 for afternoon delight, and urkles for night time snacks.. im looking forward to that!

Blaze used to tell me his soil mix can grow these girls sometimes as fast as the DWC.
i was slightly skeptical, but have never had a reason to not believe him...

and its weekends like this that i know - he wasnt fucking kidding.
Soylent green is going off the hook. she doesnt even look like the same girl.

Urkle #5 and #2 have such strong looking stems (some coz of supercropping - but not all) and their pom poms went from a penny size, to a quarter size in 2 days!

this is gonna be fun! i cant wait for round 3! ill say that much.
