ive used big bud powder decent results along with carboload could just use molasses though bud blood have heard is worthless theyve recently changed the formula for big bud cant comment on new stuff

Scroger, I used an Bud Blood on my last run and did see some differences like earlier flower formation, i will use it again to be sure.
I think i had some Plant magic stuff that was similar i think i gave it away, iv got some Grotek stuff that by the looks of is exactly the same as the Bud Blood except it says to add once two weeks after the first dose at week 1..

Solidops, hows that res going? Im interested to see how that goes. If you leave Canna coco nute solution for a few days it goes funny, leaves a scale on top of the water and goes murky...Let us know how that goes..

my res lasts 3 days when i fill the ph is 5.8 on the 3rd day its up to 6.0 but my next grow the res will be phed every day . bang on 5.9 neva had scale ir murky water but i guess when the pump comes on it moves the water around . i found the ph goes all over the place when i used a air pump n air stone so i dont bother with that anymore ..

Thanks for the info cheesey ive always been put off using a res with the coco nutes. I used to make up bottles of feed at an ex's place so she could just water when needed and found the solution got a stagnant smell after three days, i was never sure wether it was the Top Max or the a-b i put it down to the Top Max being organic. Recently i found that the Canna nutes can go funny, but evidently water movement cures that il make sure i get some power heads off my mate when i get a res going...Peace

Use a res for sure Dr D, been doing it for a while now with a nice watering wand (B&Q do a lovely one with a something like 7 choices of the flow including one that mists) also good to use a small pump to keep the water fresh if it sits for too long......makes life so much easier but like Cheesy said you have to keep an eye on the ph coz it will rise over night.

Recently I found that water alone is enough to get buds on plants. And the stuff grown on fertilizer tastes bunk. I found that a long veg time is needed, Water is good at dealing with the pests also,

I must add I have stopped using the bcuzz boosters and switched back to head master. Not finished the run yet but they are already looking bigger and less nute hungry. Which has to be a good thing for flavor.

Also not using superior potash from day 1. Starting using at at half strength on day 14 then unto full strenth at day 21. Else I find sum strains just go silly calyxy and don't swell properly.

Ive been using regen a root and found this product truely amazing..i grab some pics of what i got in veg if interested..AMAZING and ive never had roots like it in ten years of growing!! the whole 11ltr pots are full thick from top to bottom with roots which only got transplanted from a 1 pint glass to the 11ltr pot 7 days ago THANKS CHEESEY

Whats the consensus on bloombastic and it's competitors?

Well I thought bloombastic was rubbish I love house and garden bud xl and top shooter.

The bloombastic is basically the bcuzz flower stim with added pks plus some other bits.

Now my findings with bcuzz coco booster and flower stim. I used to use headmasta but changed a few runs ago to the bcuzz bits. All was good but thought on my last run that I would change back to the cheaper headmasta.

And I am sticking with headmasta. The smoke is smooth again, plants generally happier and yielded more. Tastes and smells much improved and back to what they used to be.

So that's that test done with. Thinking of trying Canadian express base nutes next.

I tried the canadian express products when they came to market years back but had an issue with regen a root making my clones look all fooked up, since then I haven't bothered with it... but you guys seem to be having good results with the stuff so I may give the headmasta a try what ratio do you give this @ and what times during bloom?

I use as per bottle. 1ml /l from day 1 of flower.

I personally don't think you can beat house and garden root exel for rooting matters.

Always used Vita link since my 2nd grow, used the main nutes, along with the buddy and most of the additives at some time or another. I know they changed the formula a while back.
Im keeping an open mind on the nutes for my new start, but I know ill be sticking to the basics for a while and not messing with the extras. Im planning to do a tomato food soil grow too

Currently using -

70/30 compost + perlite mix
Canna Terra bloom - start using @ week 3 bloom as nutes in compost 3-4ml till flush
Blackstrap molasses @ 1tbsp per 4L till flush
Maxicrop seaweed extract @ 4ml per L drop to 2ml per L @ week 3 bloom - flush
Roots excelurator until week 4 bloom @ 0.3ml per L
Pirhana 1g per L for first 2 weeks bloom
PK13/14 reduce terra start @ 4 weeks till week 6 @ 0.5ml per L - 0.75ml per L

Trying out Dutchmasters liquid light also have there 'Reverse' just in case the fem seeds get out of line

What do you guys think?
