NUTE DEFICIANCY PROBS

Ok so heres my situation. 2 bagseeds lower leaves started yellowing and now they are getting dark spots and purple stems. My Bogglegums are starting to yellow and most already have the purple stems. I think my ph is 6.5 to 7 but im using a shitty ph kit with powder u mix with water and you match the color.

I went to advance Nutrients sites they have pics of deficianceies and based on what I saw I have both a nitrogen and phosphorus def. I recently transplanted into soil with 1 cup of blood and bone meal added per cuft. Would this fix the def and if it did should the leaves recover or would it just stopp the def from progressing to other parts of the plants. I just ordered nutes and they wont be here for around a week. What could I use to lower my PH that I may have around the house in case it is too high. :friends:

If the plants were suffering from the deficiency BEFORE transplanting into the new, organic mix... Then your problems SHOULD go away soon with nothing more than palin water whenever the surface gets dry and the pot gets light... I wouldn't do anything to adjust pH just yet.
See if the new soil helps... I reckon it will. The symptoms you describe would tell me to feed them a Nitrogen-rich fertilizer AS SOON AS THE SOIL CAN TAKE WATER. :smile: Red stems and lower leaves turning yellow, then falling off easily - these are signs on N deficiency.

I switched to AN and they cleared up a small nute deficientcy in several days . Lovin my AN. Good shit!

:friends: Im not going to use advanced nutes but they are the best place to go to decipher problems with your plants. The have detailed descriptions with every prob imaginable with pictures. Im gonna wait and see if any other leaves are affected before I do anything else. If I still have probs I think I got some miracle grow and some sort of bloom fert somewhere. I ordered Pure blend grow and bloom, Fox farms BB, Earthjuice bloom and some superthrive yesturday. Plants are around 11 days old from seed. Visit my thread in my signature. I have posted many pics and ill put some up of em in the new pots today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the help. This is my first time growing with seeds I have purchased and I diddnt realize they could get a nute deficiancy so young. Im always reading that you shouldnt even fertilize untill after 2 or 3 weeks so this caught me off guard. I could care less about the bagseeds cause I wont be flowering them anyways but the boggles are my babbies and I wont let them die on me. :friends:

immortal- it may be your pH this screwed me up for the longest time. i finally went out and bought a $5o test pen (after i destroyed $300 in seeds) it is no joke.

yea it may be. if i havent corrected the problem with the new soil im sure thats the case and ill have to get one of those pens soon. thanks.

well my bagseeds are a darker green than ive ever seen em since the transplant. but the boggle are still a little yellow except one. the one thats shorter with much more branching starting from the side shoots. If its a female its a keeper

yeah well I decided in a haste that I had to put vinegar on em. Luckily I only Put it on two and the runt. one plant looks horrible here is a pic. I have two healthy bogglegums which I diddnt put it on. No I wasnt stoned' havent smoked in over 6 months. He said use small amounts i used at leats an ounce or a quarter cup in a small bottle. think I emptied the extra on the one thats gonna die. Im gonna stop posting here I think, come over to my thread if ya wanna see how things are goin.
