Tell your teenagers this..."I'd rather have you here, smoking pot with your friends, than out at some party drinking then getting into a car with some drunk, arrogant, a***ole!". My number one tip would be listen. Just shut up and listen. Put your ego aside, take criticism as just that, don't take it personally, hard to do when someone judges your baby in a not so nice light. And for god sake stop chasing varieties. Get your gear and work it for a year or 2. Nothing wrong with ordering beans, we all love that, but I have friends who grow out a cut and toss it, never realizing the potential cause they didn't give it time.

This day and age.. There is no reason why anyone should not know how to deal with the police. YouTube is full of videos on how to deal with police questions, how to handle them when they come to your door.. And how to protect your civil rights the best you can.. People should be teaching this stuff to their children.
