Not really enjoying the switch from joints to vaping

It took a long time but I learned to love using my Volcano. The high is way stronger to me akin to eating a space cake and such. I've tried many different types of vapes but nothing can beat the Volcano except maybe Storz & Bickel's smaller portable units. Nothing beats them for the money.

The volcano doesn't provide thick enough vapor Imo. I switched to an Extreme Q with a ufo shaped herb chamber (browsed gong fittings until I found one that looked right, had to cut down a 2" screen), it will fill a turkey bag so thick it looks just like smoke. The EQ as these bouncy rubber feet so you can drum the heat shield and it'll tumble the herb around as the bag fills, full extraction, nothing left in the abv.
I like to tape off a few bags and throw them in the backseat. Better than fumbling with hot glass.

Plus if you upgrade to a silicone whip with better mouthpieces, packing the upper screens gives you a great tabletop experience with the EQ. The Solo tastes best with most danky slimey strains, but the e-nano hits harder with less. (The screen gets clogged around the edges though, has to constantly be replaced, bad airflow, no engineering in the design.) I really want to try a Mighty or crafty but I'll probably end up buying another solo and a new battery for the old one. Everyone I know has a solo. Dammit someone buy a mighty so i can test it out!

I purchased the Pax 2 vaporizer last week, which is quite a bit of money out of my monthly budget for me and to be honest I'm not really enjoying it.

I find the taste less than smoking and it takes me a while to get high.

I usually smoke every day which I know is bad for me and it was health reasons that pushed me to make the switch

Does anything disagree and think smoking is actually a better experience and vaping?

Any better or more satisfying results at higher settings?

Vapes can be cheap. The VapCaps are not terribly expensive. And you can make your own Vaponic for a couple dollars. I bought some test tubes and some glass and made a couple dozen Vaponic copies and gave them all to friends.

The problem with butane vapes is if you are in an illegal state, everyone thinks you are striking crack. Fucking white trash hillbillies where I live have no clue about vapes, much less butane vapes. They just point and scream, "Crackhead, crackhead", LMAO

However, I must say, the absolute finest taste in cannabis comes from an all glass flame heated vape. I don't believe you'll ever taste cannabis better than from a Vaponic. Just too damn much trouble for me.

I just counted over 100 vapes, addys and mods in my vape collection. LOL Fucking manic spenders keeping this nation's economy alive. LOL

Couple of my home made Vaponic vapes. All under a few dollars. Water adapters or just a stem. Like playing lego with glass once you figure the program. I used glass straws. I used those BG Chillum glass one-hitters. Mostly stuff I had laying around. Add an appropriately sized test tube and a butane lighter and.... bingo.

I notice a major difference in breathing since switching from smoking to vaping but in all fairness I did smoke 10 to 20 joints a day.

I am very very surprised when I pull some nice full melt bubble and place it in the pipe and light it up and it tastes like shit. I used to love the taste of hash and little by little I am finding it more and more offensive.

Never thought I would see the day when I would shrug the taste of full melt bubble hash. But today, nothing tastes better than a full glass vape hit. Almost feels like you taste every single terp one at a time.

Don't eat that Elmer. The mere combustion of materials <--- read in general produces carcinogens and therefore should be avoided, at all cost. That being said, although cannabidiols/binoids have demonstrated they contain a certain amount of "rejuvenation properties", the Q should be... wait for it... How much harm can be attributed to the practice and, how much rejuvenation takes place. If it is superior to the damaged caused, then yes Otherwise you are burning the candle from both ends I'm afraid

I watched the 1st 4 minutes only. Published in 2006 prior to "vaping/ecigs". Therefore a mute point.

I'm not disputing his findings which were pretty much as you stated non-conclusive. So how do you determine your validation of the subject?

I quit smoking 8 yrs ago. I use to have 2-3 colds/yr as a smoker. In 8 yrs (smoke free) I've had a total of 3 colds. Can you explain that? I can! Propylene glycol has anti-bacterial properties and, is used in hospitals in air filtration systems for that property alone.

We know much, much more today than he did then. I am not picking on him, but 12 yrs is a loooooooooooooooong time, especially with all the advancement in both technology and medicine in the last decade.

Combustion = BAD
Vaping = BETTER
Air = BEST

There is no other way to slice it!

@Switcher56... as for pot combustion causing cancer..... I read an article at NCBI about how pot smoke has the carcinogenic constituents just like tobacco smoke. However, they are in a precursor form and the tobacco smoke contains the proper constituents to activate the carcinogens.

However, cannabis smoke has no constituents to activate the carcinogen. And, in fact, the pot smoke has constituents that actually encapsulate the carcinogens and prevent them from being activated.

It was an interesting article leading to the hypothesis that smoking pot does not afford the same cancer dangers as tobacco smoking.

The problem with forums is the noise & distortion from parasitic individuals installed everywhere who appear to have taken over "the community" in an attempt to impose their own immuable favourite self-serving/perpetuating realities through an artificial accumulation of credential points and "friends". Volcano/Arizer fans prove particularily toxic once their cognitive failures get exposed: topic steering + gang-bashing, forged/imported (anti-)socializing topic obstruction if not deletions, you name it! Anything will do, mediocre feeble incompetents simply can't resist the temptation to cover their shame if it's convenient...
