I live in a house heated by Pex in concrete and carpeted floors. Its amazing stuff. A simple coil at the bottom of a smartpot would do the trick. Uber simple. Connect the whole thing to an on-demand propane water heater and its off-the-grid perfection in the pots. This is how i will heat the rows of hoops in next year's gardens. I have played with various different wood stove/copper tubing concepts... The Pex is a lot easier to work with than semi-rigid copper tubing for sure. But the idea of a simple sand floor is sweet. Can Pex be laid in sand? A layer of sand and a layer of gravel with Pex it it would be slick... and somewhat mobile. I love a gravel floor on the GH.
I am looking for a system for the greenhouse veg steeze in which i could move the plants around, even small plants on racks and have radiant heated surfaces of any size wherever I want them. Always, i seek modular, break-down/put-up systems that allow for max mobility and versatility. Its part of the Nomaad ethos.
There are these black hard molded plastic sheets that flood with water and have plumbing connections on two corners. They are made in a number of sizes and can all be interconnected with poly or hose. I will take a pic next time I am in that spot that has one on display. I have not done a google search for strings like "radiant heating greenhouse shelving" because I really have no time for research right now.
