Hi VT, lol theres nothing wrong with fat in the right places, you just want those places to be selective :)
Hi Deft, ever see the film Alien, (GMT shudders), the thought of something growing inside someone freeks me out a little bit, I dont know how women cope with that. It'll always be low effort in here, I am the lazy grower afterall.
Hi Dr Dog, just been over to check it out, looking good in there, now that's what I call fat buds.
Hi Dime, yep it was all cool here, hope things went well for you. I am toking here, although its early cuts from my next chop, I should have more self control, but I haven't.
Hey Zeus, I need to check your thread out, I havent been over in a while. I'm still on these bruised nuts, same thing I've been growing for a while now, so many phenos still, and not all worth growing, but I keep making seeds with the gems and hoping the next generation will have more gems than the last.

I had the same thought on alien as I typed that, same thought about women having something growing inside of them, freaks me out. I love alien and giger themed movies like dune etc.

Wow - talk about cola development!

Pregnant ladies - somewhere along the line - I started to appreciate their looks. Must be all that swelling femininity...

Happy New Year GMT - from the looks of your garden you'll be bringing in the New Year with a fine crop... once again! :jump:

Hi Deft, I thought about it, and started to think of kids as being a little parasitical, although I guess its more symbiotic given the rolls get reversed 40 years later. Anyway, hope the new year is a gooden for ya.

Hey MGJ, I'm gonna start leaving it a bit longer between photo shoots, as that cola looks the same as it did in the last post to me. Although thats a lot better than the other plants, who look like they are only 2 weeks into flower for some reason. Tell me, was the point at which you learned to apreciate the beauty of pregnancy the same point as Mrs GJ being pregnant? Just wondering if the beauty of cognative dissonance had a hand to play. I hope this year brings you more joy and less hassle than the last.

Hey Hey Alex, where ya been? I thought you'd left us. Happy new year to you and the gf. Are you going to be sticking around a bit? Hope so. Are you still rocking the basement? Still prefering those crazy sativas? Let us know what you're up to mate.

quickie, playing with stacked images, this my first attempt, the program seems to oversharpen the image giving a less than clear finish, but I'll get the hang of it eventually, 36 exposures to create one image, once loaded it took the laptop an hour to process, so I'm posting it up even though I'm not overly impressed.

Great and then the icmag server downgrades the image even further, ah well that's life I guess

Great looking pic none the less man, love those seeds. I have yet to play with the photo stack, my comp would probably catch on fire trying to process the image. Have a good one bro.

Hay GMT Just wanted to tell you what great stuff you have going on. I found your thread doing a google search for Trifoliate and thought I'm a member here> I can post and tell him how cool his stuff is. Anyway, I wish I would have found this post last year when I first joined here. I would have been a follower for sure. Anyway, I'm suscribed now and I hope to see more of your tri work. Anyway, I'll have my new grow journal up in a day or 2. My camera takes crap for pics on the close-up but I'll do the best I can. My tri looking mutant is a Dutch Passion Passion #1 femanised. So my guess is that it's not a true. Prob caused in the femming process but we'll see if she reverts or stays. Anyway, thanks for all the eye candy!!

Hey Fink, thanks. Always nice to be apreciated.

Hi Old Soul, yeah it finished up nicely, smoked well too :)

Hi Brother, close your eyes and imagine hot chocolate, burning hash, a few spices, and an amsterdam coffee shop, now ya can smell them, lol.

Hi BR, that gave nice solid individual nugs. Sadly it didn't run into colas the way some do, but its buds were nicer even though yield was way below some. The seeds I decided to sprout were from that last one pictured, it finished far quicker and the buds were of higher quality than the higher yielding phenos. That one was a bi-foliar. Strange that it produced so many tri offspring and a few quads thrown in. I figured it would reduce the odds but improve the structure, which I was happy with, now I'm very happy lol.

Hi Jan, I'm glad you did. I'm sorry about the late reply, I pretty much got distracted by the 3d thread and forgot about this one. Im glad you find em interesting too, and that looks like a nice plant you posted, how did it turn out? If it has 3 separate leaf stems per node, its a true tri in my book, did you clone it? seed it at all?

Well since I have a few tri's on the go, I'm returning to the tri quest for a run, I'll continue it on its old thread, which means if you follow this link, and post, you wont need to search through silly amounts of pages to check the latest post.

me to.....lol....not given any nutes in like 5 or 6 weeks...and still looking dark green and lush...hehehe

The plants you see at the front here were all germed Feb 5th and have recieved nothing but pH'd water so far... these are in 1 euro per bag soil from the Hoogvliet  (the ones behind are the same strain in coco - I feed them everyday and the cost of the coco foods was around 60-70 euros) .. I went and bought another 200 liters of the soil yesterday ..10 euros

lazy isnt necessarily a bad way to grow

nice thread GMT... love the seeded bud pics.. excellent work

note to GMT - I'm a first time grower and am proving your point nicely... my idea was to put some in this pre fed soil so that I would have something if I did something wrong with my coco plants... as it turns out (and probably because I havent nailed coco feeding yet) the soil only fed plants are the biggest and greenest in there... thus proving the point that for a newbie, it can be much easier than ppl think

Hey thanks Jamie, your post alone would make the thread worthwhile. Clearly you can get better results by fine tuning your setup to its peak performance level if you are a commercial grower, but for the average small scale grower and large scale smoker your post proves the point that I am making with this thread. Peeps make it overly complicated all the time, and it just needn't be that way.
I'm taking a little break from this thread, which is my general growing thread, and returning to my 3+3 thread, which concentrates on my efforts to breed a line of trifoliates. Same thing, same techiniques, but I want a place to store just relevant tri seeded grows rather than smoke grows. Hope you make the leap over, I just haven't updated it yet.

thanks man, I'll be sure to check it out

The next "feed" they'll get is when I pot them on next week. I'm half tempted to finish one of them just using molasses (although I have some carbo load booster type product here too) just to stick 2 fingers up to the whole "spend a 100 bucks on feed" companies - I'm sure (with a lack of knowledge - like mine) its easy to mess up your whole grow with an errant dose or two of some of these concentrated products ..and more than likely the reason behind half the posts in the infirmary
