ok so, i bought 2 nps strips one for flower and one for vegg. i got some fungus gnats or flies or something from mircale grow organic soil. now i havent seen a flying gnat in about 4 days or so, however i picked up one of the solo cups from the vegg room and pulled out the root ball, and thers these little white things crawling around still, im assuming they are fungus gnat larva, will the nps take care of this eventually? or do i have to get something else? i took a little bit of safer soap and water and watered the cup with it to see if maybe that did something, ill check when i get back home. whats the life cycle of these little buggers? i mean the plants are doing ok, but i would assume they could be doing better. the nps should stop them from reproducing once they are ready to fly and lay eggs right??????

When i used to grow in soil I had a lot of whiteflies and the only place I could think that they were coming from was the soil,I just used a commercial mix with some perlite mixed in and kept it in a big garbage can with the lid on.I started putting a no pest strip in my soil container and the problem never occured again.

The little larvae cannot reproduce. they must grow to full adult and then make babies. Since they will die before they mature completely (after they exit the soil into your insecticide haven) you will eradicate them.

I use an NPS and haven't seen shit since I put it up.
